Great news!  What glass ceiling, ladies?  Mary was 15 or so and look what God had in store for her!

There were few computers in Mexico City on Dec 12, 1531, but today, computer analysis shows the stars on her famous ’tilma’ are an exact match for the skychart that day 490 years ago.

In fact, using the tilma stars as the “key”, we find the constellation Virgo (the Virgin) rested over the Virgin Mary’s heart.  And the constellation Leo (the Lion of Judah, Jesus/Savior) rests over her womb.  Fascinating how God works.  He designed the heavens from before all time and engineered all of creation to get us to heaven.  In this instance, science, astronomy, theology and Marianology coincide with faith.

“And a great sign appeared in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and on her head a crown of twelve stars; she was with child and she cried out in her pangs of birth, in anguish for delivery.”

EVERY time Mary used her frequent flyer miles and skills, she focused on her Son, and acted on behalf of heaven’s best, God.  Like in Fatima or Quito (Lady of Good Success) Equador, Mary is NEVER wrong.

Rev continued:  “…a red dragon’s tail swept 1/3 of the stars (angels) and cast them to earth.  The dragon stood before the woman (ready to devour her Son)…she fled into the wilderness…(sounds a bit like Mary & Joseph in Egypt for a time)…for 1260 days ie 3 1/2 years.  Was the Holy Family in Egypt that long to escape Herod’s evil designs? Rev 12:7 talks of war in heaven, with St Michael the Archangel defeating the devil and its angels.

Mary is the second Eve and the snake dragon evil one does not rest while time is moving; it knows its time is short.  Conjecture, evil is aware of much that we are not on earth: take the Catholic icon map key known as the Great Pyramid of Giza.  It is a square circle, once covered with 144,000 mirror stones (Revelations 14:1) that sits at the exact center of the world and points to the Exodus and Bethlehem (more in a different post).  Evil senses Jesus could be returning pretty quickly, when the Father is good and ready.

But, put simply”:

Mary reigns in heaven; on August 15 a few millennia ago, she died, as tradition shows, in Jerusalem near where her Son perished.  Possibly buried temporarily in the Kidron Valley, she was taken heavenward body and soul.  (hat tip Patrick Madrid)

Soooo, eBay has toast with Mary’s image on it, yet, knowing God took all of the heavenly Queen home, I wouldn’t buy any Marian first class relics outside cathedrals, tourists and sojourners…and at conferences.  They don’t exist.  Although you could feast on her dinner table, the one that St Luke painted our Lady of Czestochowa and Son on.

Mary’s chronograph: conceived December 8th (immaculate conception).  Born Sept 8th (9 months later).  Headed home August 15th  First date in heaven on her assumption.  Conjecture on whether she died or was assumed alive.  But she IS Queen of Heaven, Regina Coeli, forevermore. The Queen Mother.

Mary was conceived without sin on December 8th; she defied the odds and due to Joachim and Anne defying reproductive rights demons assaulting them, she entered daylight on Sept 8th.   Speaking of evil devouring everything it can that God values, only about 2/3rds of our children survive today, because medical science has regressed into blatant primitive ignorance: Pre-infant mortality is pandemic…but in Mary’s time, before massive techno advance, much more children came into the world.  Even in 1531, at its height, only 1 in 6 humans were sacrificed to the Aztec Quetzalcoatl and related gods.   Today it is 1 in 3 and 9 times as likely a black kid is sacrificed to the planned parenthoodlums satanic gods.

Imagine if we had the Aging App at every Planned Parenthood so they can use it alongside the ultrasound machine to show in fact they ARE in fact not animal, vegetable or mineral: but HUMAN.

Sometime in her teen years, Mary, the daughter of Anne and Joachim Joachimoffspring, she was given the rare opportunity to mother God.

I understand God’s representative told her:  “Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you” which is one of the three most common Catholic prayers.  So, I checked out the historical documents:

The early Church fathers had this to say (hat tip Catholic Answers)

The key to understanding all these graces is Mary’s role as the New Eve, which the Fathers proclaimed so forcefully. Because she is the New Eve, she, like the New Adam, was born immaculate, just as the First Adam and Eve were created immaculate. Because she is the New Eve, she is mother of the New Humanity (Christians), just as the first Eve was the mother of humanity. And, because she is the New Eve, she shares the fate of the New Adam. Whereas the First Adam and Eve died and went to dust, the New Adam and Eve were lifted up physically into heaven.

Of particular interest in the following quotations from the Fathers are those that speak of Mary’s immaculate nature. We will all one day be rendered immaculate (sinless), but Mary, as the prototypical Christian, received this grace early. God granted her freedom from sin to make her a fitting mother for his Son.

Even before the terms “original sin” and “immaculate conception” had been defined, early passages imply the doctrines. Many works mention that Mary gave birth to Jesus without pain. But pain in childbearing is part of the penalty of original sin (Gen. 3:16). Thus, Mary could not have been under that penalty. By God’s grace, she was immaculate in anticipation of her Son’s redemptive death on the cross. The Church therefore describes Mary as “the most excellent fruit of redemption” (CCC 508).

The Ascension of Isaiah

“[T]he report concerning the child was noised abroad in Bethlehem. Some said, ‘The Virgin Mary has given birth before she was married two months.’ And many said, ‘She has not given birth; the midwife has not gone up to her, and we heard no cries of pain’” (Ascension of Isaiah 11 [A.D. 70]).

Furthermore, the original deception was to be done away with—the deception by which that virgin Eve (who was already espoused to a man) was unhappily misled. That this was to be overturned was happily announced through means of the truth by the angel to the Virgin Mary (who was also [espoused] to a man). . . . “Therefore the Virgin is immortal to this day, seeing that he who had dwelt in her transported her to the regions of her assumption” (Homily on Simeon and Anna [A.D. 400]).

“[T]he Lord said to his Mother, ‘Let your heart rejoice and be glad, for every favor and every gift has been given to you from my Father in heaven and from me and from the Holy Spirit. “But Mary, the glorious Mother of Christ, who is believed to be a virgin both before and after she bore him, has, as we said above, been translated into paradise, amid the singing of the angelic choirs, whither the Lord preceded her” (ibid., 1:8).

So, if you get a chance.  Wish Mary a happy birthday and first day in heaven in your prayers when appropriate.  After all, she took the time to be the Ark of the Covenant, the Tabernacle of the Saviour.  Through Him ALL are saved who believe in Him.

That’s what my God, who Created 553 sextillion miles of universe for man and woman to enjoy and be stewards of, says He did.  Not the alphabet soup of different genders, 75 trillion cells in man.  Maybe a few more in woman.  And as Mary proved, only woman can take a single cell and convert it to a fully functioning human in about 280 days.

She and Joseph wrapped her Child in swaddling clothes, we put ours in onesies, kidcart strollers and more.  Same genus, same species.

As to your god, believe what you want.  I stick to the revealed God, who created one man and one woman from one first couple.  ONE HUMAN RACE.  Shuffle your 52 cards’ deck, all imprinted with RACIST! in the middle, and deal them as you will.  There is NO black or Jewish or white or Polish, nay German nor American race.  Just the ONE HUMAN RACE.

Mary continues to use her frequent flyer miles, appearing at so many places like Mexico City (Our Lady of Guadalupe), Czestokowa, as Good Success in Quito, Ecuador, at the pope’s side when he was shot by communist sympathizers on May 13, 1981, the feast of our Lady of Fatima, another one of her in personal appearances.  Which, as she proved in Egypt, she is the mother of protestants, muslims, Catholics, ALL people and Queen of all places, HEAVEN! too.

Thank you, Mary for your service.  You ARE LOVED!  Say Hi! to my Donna in the heavenlies; she too took on motherhood with gusto.  On August 15, 1981, Donna said Yes to children and ‘I do’ to this dad of a future 11.  She returned to heaven 49 days short of 49 on September 9th in 2011; the last rites given on Mary’s birthday the day before.

I have said little on this: but another Mary said “Yes” and “I do!” to me, a widower, on June 8th in the year of the Lord 2019. In another little Godincidence, it was on a Marian date (2/3rds of the way between Dec 8th and September 8th) we exchanged “for better and for worse; for rich or poor…until death do us part.” vows.  Mary Basile said “Yes!” to inheriting 12 kids, 12 if you number this author as the first.

Another Mary who never married, a solid Catholic woman and a blessing i believe to sooo many in this zany world and my excellent 11 offspring.  I just know Donna is more than fine with this in her present happiness in heaven.  I believe we remember our lives in heaven and Donna might be recalling this as the 38th anniversary since that specially permitted Saturday at St Anthony Claret.  Tempus fugit, time flies, but heaven IS forever.  So is hell, so definitely follow the Christ and the mother of God who heralds her Son repeatedly, a good Jewish mother who knows what’s best for us…and the world.

A client recently asked when he and his wife should use his one time $125,000 over age 55 capital gains tax protection; they were approaching their mid 50s.  To his surprise, I told him since 1996, you can keep the first $500,000 in real property “lottery winnings” when you sell your home, and do this every two years.  I googled and found that you can get 1990 (older) articles still talking about the outdated information.

The one time rule is long gone, yet often people hear from a friend of their neighbor’s third sister, who’s married and read some where….  you get the drift.  Ask a professional.   Call with questions; leave NOTHING to chance.

Buying and selling real estate are epic, life changing events and should be done with ALL the pertinent information.  Acting now or doing absolutely nothing both could be the right answer at this time in your life.

“This publication (523) explains the tax rules that apply when you sell or otherwise give up ownership of a home. If you meet certain conditions, you may exclude the first $250,000 of gain from the sale of your home from your income and avoid paying taxes on it. The exclusion is increased to $500,000 for a married couple filing jointly.”  ~IRS

Your main or prime/principal residences is covered under the IRS code 1034, the usual term for the home you live in; for example, the time test is living in the home for two of the last 5 years.  And it need not be continuous, but cumulative.

Example: The Smiths bought 123 4th street for $300,000 in 2011; today it is worth $700,000.  If single, you would exclude from cap taxes the first $250K; IF married all the gain would be excluded.  You get to factor in selling costs, buying costs, improvements to cut the taxes you pay.   Check with your tax guy for details.

Why is this important?  Buying and selling a home is best done with a level head and all the facts.   We topped out in values in 2007-8; then the so-called mortgage meltdown.  Short sales, losing homes, misery AND opportunity.  Come 2011 or so, we hit home values bottom here in Southern California.  Since then, the last 7 years has seen the rebound in values.  Many homes purchased since 2005 are worth more, from $1 to hundreds of thousands.  Doing nothing IS a decision…so is planning ahead.

Also of import, as of third quarter of 2018, in many areas, runaway demand has softened; you don’t have five buyers’ agents on your welcome mat with offers the day the sign goes up, even if priced reasonably.  Values are up and yes, you can still do ok, but note that with the increase in rates and higher prices, buyers are pausing OR can’t afford to buy what they could in the first quarter of 2018.  These factors can put a lid, temp or long term is the crystal ball, on rising prices.  This fuels the hesitation on buyers acting as well, what with the good news of income tax rates down and a re-energized economy prompting the Fed to act of interest rates.

Simply put, is it time to sell?  Note that a dollar in a bank called “bank” or a bank called “home equity” have equal paper value until you do something.  The bank dollar gathers a couple per cent interest, a good thing and savings for another day.

The equity dollar, in fact up to $500,000 (adjusted up and down by improvements and costs of sale & purchase) of them, can be converted to gold, silver or ? upon sale with NO tax exposure.

Obviously, the IRS is the final arbiter on this: for the details of exclusions, time frames etc, go to https://www.irs.gov/publications/p523.   In Publication 523, you can sort through your particulars.

I am not a real estate attorney or CPA, so I do recommend your tax guy gets your call for details.  He or she knows your particulars, but this factor can mean turning your equity gold into a new, trade up or go smaller, keeping or using some equity free of taxes for other purposes, increasing or changing your asset picture.

Such as increasing family; Donna and I had 8 kids by our 15th anniversary (no batteries in the TV remote?) and we are sooo blessed at the 11.  But, maybe your home’s values may have topped out.  Even if they continue to go up, and you trade up to bigger or better digs while interest rates are low AND you needed (or wanted, two diff things) more room.

Other factors include the new 2017 ADU streamline laws (adding on up to 30% of your home on your home or a separate up to 50% accessory dwelling unit, previously called granny flats.  It could be a great way to cash out mom and/or dad’s home, especially if you’ve lost one of your parents, to build on, attached or separate, getting prepared for the succeeding years.  Gerontologists say it is best for a seasoned parent to stay in familiar (ie their home) until absolutely necessary, but for generations, parents and grandparents weren’t shipped off to convalescent homes due to inconvenience.  Different generations lived within the same household and guess what, BENEFITED from each other.

Factor in the cost of assisted living ($4000-8000 a MONTH) and the fact the time will come when your parent is better closer to you.  Don’t unilaterally kidnap mom and sell her home but at least discuss as a family while things are normal, call me for some suggestions to consider.

Did you know this about plastics?  No one notes that single use plastic bags are manufactured from natural gas WASTE byproducts, not oil.  So, instead of burning them off in the atmosphere, they were converted to multiple use thin plastic bags with 100’s of uses.  Plastic by its nature is used in 6000 different products.  Yet the war on fossil fuels continues, despite the fact 40% of a 55 gallon barrel goes into the manufacture of surgical tools and infusion devices, etc,

Except for the self-anointed plastics police. Lovable leftist Larry Wilson at the OCRegister SCNG, for example, thinks it is ok to make cars out of CARdboard, preferring CAFE standards like 100 miles per gallon of fossil fuel.  You understand, right?  The higher the number, the higher the deaths.  The 9 unsafest cars are roller skates like Smart cars and subcompacts; the safest without ONE traffic fatality are SUVs, the much maligned family protection transport devices.  Engines are sooo efficient, the major way to increase gas mileage is to lose weight, like remove metals and replace with plastics and composites.

The Obamanation people killing CAFE standards were getting close to 80mpg.  Wanna know what does that?  Motorcycles but little room for your family of five.

Mary Gardner asked: “how do you stop big pests from eating your ripening fruit, like figs and tomatoes, without chems?”

Answer: I prefer using slices of tomatoes, laid on fence posts around the garden. Japanese beetles are voracious chompers this time of year; I caught five of the pretty but prolific pests and donated them to the chickens for dessert using this method.  No chemicals involved, just a quick hand.

Fair trade-off: a slice or two of the fruit you are protecting and the chickens get a treat.  No chickens to feed them to?  Ask your 9 year old; he knows how to put a string on their leg and fly them around.  JK  This is cruel and inanimale punishment.

As to squash, if you are going for a giant pumpkin, start immediately to make it by All Saints Eve or better and larger, Thanksgiving.  The plant growth takes 60 days, the fruit growth about 90 more.  Of course you can pick it when it’s smaller than a garage, but that’s your choice.  Suggestions at the Giant Pumpkin site:

Tomatoes and Zukes: go ahead and plant!  The garden grown varieties seem more tasty than store bought, and if you are like Paul Kim, a great Catholic talent and dad who fears Roundup, you can control your growing environment at home.  You don’t need 40 acres either!!   Lots of laser focused watering and keep the weeds out.  Great kid project for summer, public or homeschool, private or just like to garden.  You can still try 3 sisters style as well (see previous blog for details) for a variety.  I’d toss in a few giant sunflower starts.

In California we have a longer (actually almost four growing seasons).

God called us to the gift of work.  He didn’t design millennials to live in grandma’s basement until they are 40, all ten of them go outside to play white supremicists confronted by the terrorist orgs like AntiFascist and Black Lives Matter.

Character counts.  Blacks and Whites are part of the Same ONE Human Race; there are no two first couples.   And…neither black nor whites are supreme, God is.  We need to help our kids to think critically, not get lazy, not become sheep to wacky tenured leftist professors who spew toxic crap for $150,000 a year, in the “underwater basketweaving studies” department.

There’s this 100+ year old, beautifully restored, vintage home just north of the 91 fwy on Brookhurst.   It sits in a gated mini-estate surrounded by wrought iron and a powered gate.  How many memories could these walls reveal? One is of a Fullerton pioneer who changed the county with aerospace and industry.

You could call it a 50/50 estate: the main home was moved over 50 years ago, in one piece, from the Allgeyer citrus orchard at Brookhurst & La Palma.  It’s old address (10011 La Palma) no longer exists when you search Anaheim’s building records (stops at 8830 in Buena Park).

The better name, instead of an orange and vanilla ice cream bar, involves it’s long time occupants honoring the builder Charles Allgeyer whose granddaugter married a long time Fullerton industrial pioneer.

This one piece transport tidbit is critical, since it was moved sometime before the 91 fwy was opened between Magnolia and Harbor circa 1956-1958.  Hard to move a 2 story under that Brookhurst overpass.

And the long time owners, Robert Louis Clark and Helen Allgeyer, are a story worth telling.

Robert “Bob” Louis Clark died Sept 4, 1997 at age 83; his long time love Helen Allgeyer three years before in 1994.  Both were born in 1914, 7 states, a Depression and two world wars apart today and from each other.

Bob came from a large Catholic family in Illinois (East St. Louis) and headed to California, specifically Hollywood during the Depression,  in 1933 at age 19.  Apparently, innovative, since he faked his carpentry skills credentials after racing to a library for a book on the subject before he got the job at Harold Lloyd Studios building props. The next day.

Two years later, he worked his way into special effects with his adaptability and ingenuity; he suggested bleaching cornflakes as snow, for example.

Soon, it was the stuff of winter for Shirley Temple’s movie “Heidi”.

He made volcanoes erupt (useful for when his future sons had science fair projects) and buildings collapse earthquake style for other movies.

At that time, he met Helen Allgeyer, a Hollywood costume designer and, for the Anaheim/Fullerton connection, she was the granddaughter of an Anaheim citrus rancher, Charles Allgeyer; her dad was Herman Allgeyer.

We have an 1889 picture of Herman at Orangethorpe school (1400 s Brookhurst); the name comes from the fruit combined with the Old English word -thorpe, which translates “village”: Orange Village.  Later, as many OC towns did, Orangethorpe was incorporated.  The main purpose as protection from Val Vida Cannery, which became Hunt foods on the way to Hunt-Wesson’s intrusion on their ranches.

Allgeyers; Val Vida was planning a sewer farm (1920) for the waste from their canning operations.  This did not sit well with the locals; in fact, Herman Allgeyer called a meeting at the LaPalma@Brookhurst home to build a war chest to stop the planned “sewer farm” from being implemented.  They incorporated Orangethorpe as a city in 1921 to stop the vegetable waste overreach.

Herman’s daughter, Helen and Bob Clark married in 1937 and after “My 3 Sons”, ‘Robert’ Bruce, Terrance and Kevin were born, they headed to the ranch to live on 10011 La Palma around 1946-7, right after WWII.

Thus, Bob’s second career dawned.   He jumped in with both feet dealing with wells, irrigation, feast and famine blight…they lived in the house that moved about than 10 years later to its current Fullerton location at 1513 Brookhurst.

After the Allgeyer Orange/Citrus Ranch was sold to developers, the family moved to a one acre Sunny Hills parcel which Bob turned into a forest of jacarandas, Monterey pines, avocados, lemon and of course orange trees (hat tip to Robin Hinch/OCReg).  His three sons, today in their 60s and 70s,  remember well, since they had to water the trees and their dad’s Cadillac every Saturday.

A people person, it seems Bob never shrunk from an opportunity to help, such as sort out water and sewer issues of the ranchers; he incidentally joined the Chamber (1955-58 is our guess) among his activities over three careers.

Something of import to many aerospace engineer retired and their descendants, Bob’s career #3 began in 1952 when (Robert) Bruce was about age 6: he got into public relations and became the industrial development coordinator for Fullerton.

His achievements included bringing $30 million in new industry, examples being Hughes Aircraft and Kimberly Clark…and land for the YMCA near the Brea Dam.

Pegging the actual move date has not been easy but we might have a line on an 8mm film from the past.

We narrowed things down, finding a listing of Robert & Helen, from a 1953 phone directory, showing them still at 10011 La Palma at Brookhurst.  The home was still on the citrus ranch, next to at least two others.

Next, we have a Jan 25, 1956 article stating after his stint with the city, Bob took a job as industrial consultant with California Bank while still on the ranch; the article stated he had solved Anaheim-Fullerton school district boundary issues and was active in scouting.  The last makes sense, since the boys listed ages in the article were Bruce, 13; Terry 7 and Kevin age 4.

Searching the archives further,  we have found out that Charles & Madonna Farner lived at 1513 S Brookhurst from a Sept 1962 directory, after finding that 1484 Woodcraft Fullerton phone number LA5-1702, was their nearby home in the late 1950s.  So, it is possible the Farners bought the home after it’s move to 1513 and the Clarks moved to the Sunny Hills area of Fullerton, widely known as the bedroom community for Hughes employees.  My dad worked at Hughes until his retirement, like so many engineers post war.

Best guess to date is the home was moved between ’56 and ’58 after the ranch was sold to local developers:  prior to the leg of the SR91 being completed across Brookhurst.  The clue is it moved up Brookhurst in one 2 story piece.

Rumor has it there were two large homes on the original ranch (including the Clark~Allgeyer home) and a third smaller one, possibly maid’s or nanny’s quarters, did not survive the 91 demolition before the Magnolia leg opened in 1958.

Helen’s dad was Herman Allgeyer, who’s own dad Charles apparently built/finished the home in 1914, just before he died, possibly with his son Herman’s involvement.  This was the same year Helen was born which is the same birth year of Robert states away.  Will it make it to Hallmark Channel is anybody’s guess.

We have pictures of Herman at the Orangethorpe school circa 1889.  Note, when Orange Village/Orangethorpe was needed as an incorporated city,  Herman took the lead in helping the other ranchers’ need to protect their families from less than desirable ‘progress.’  Unless it’s too NIMBY to live next to an industrial level ‘sewer farm’.

It appears the main house joined the 450 sf ranch house already at the 1513 Brookhurst address in the year 1957-58. Fullerton maps don’t extend that far south on Brookhurst in a preliminary search.  Since it was county land, we are consulting the county should Anaheim be able to help.

We surmise it was rotated 90 degrees so its 26 foot long porch faced the large backyard and became adjacent to the current building already on the land.  When it was on LaPalma@Brookhurst, the address indicates it was on the north side of La Palma.

Much of the restoration preceded the current owners, meticulously carried out by the Brass family we believe.  The Brasses took title August 21, 1975 from the Farner family and sold it to the current family September 25, 2001.

104 years later, it is a remarkable vintage property.  Well worth a tour.  Currently listed by Millennium 3 Real Estate for $949,000, a bargain knowing its history and the potential to accrue rental income from the old ranch house.  Don’t miss out.

Fair Question: is there a Bubble as in 2007-2008?  Is the market changing?  Is the shortage going long?

For owners, values and prices are up.  But what we are seeing, is an increase in new listings and supply that might signal a return to more normalcy or a change in the weather vane we all remember from Mary Poppins…things going south.

So, when an owner is thinking of selling this summer, keep in mind this isn’t 2016-2017.  But then it isn’t 2011 either, where the market bottomed after mortgage defaults had become as plentiful as politician lies.

He’s a smart guy in real estate, 40 years in the news business (another great piece on the Capitol Gazette tragedy in Mon, July 9th edition).

I have read Mr. Lansner with the OCRegister for years, as many of you may have. His thoughts are important to consider. Many of you who picked up some of our free starter seedlings in spring are enjoying the growth and maybe even a harvest or two of the fruit of your labor.

I take no credit for what God does well; i just help people sell or buy real estate and in the wee hours of the daylight saved summer, i water a couple minutes and God does the rest.

Praise report: we just broke the 100 pound tomato mark and love passing on a bunch of the tomatoes to real estate clients, neighbors, homeschooling and other friends and family.  Hope your gardens are doing well.  Full disclosure, we had nada much last year but never give up.

Truth is, no, they keep hiding and discovered under the big leaves summer squash grow necessary for good eating and growing.

For example, both of these in the picture have been grown organically.  Tina for example came into the world via Donna and continues to be a faith-filled Catholic lady close to college.  We feed and water her daily.  The zucchini, no longer but will make for a great BBQ, bread or sliced into circles or carved out for a tomato, cheese or ? fill before bake or BBQ.

Our highest sunflower just measured out at 10 feet 3 inches.  We put this meme together with some suggestions for your giants as they come in from the heat this summer:

Suggestions for a sun forest (still time this summer since they grow fast if lots of sun, water and carbon dioxide.  Wait, that’s the same as God’s answer to the global warmologists who think CO2 is pollution:  “photosynthesis”!!

Think of your munchkins inside 7-10 foot high ring of giants sitting at a small desk and chair…don’t need a lot of space and you can run pole beans up them or zucchini at the base, which we did this year. A hybrid of the 3 Sisters of Native Indian lore.

Quick life long learning lesson:  sunflowers are the best way to show phototropism: God designed them to follow the sun, so the heads get the most sunlight.  I’ll research but it starts from early in its life, before the heads form, so it’s more than just instinct.  In nature, God has ‘planted’ many secrets or clues to His existence and His Nature:

For example, the three primary colors make up one white light: the Trinity is God from God, Light from Light, True God from True God. 3 Primary Beings in One Godhead.

Same with the much maligned photosynthesis, God’s miracle process.  Carbon dioxide only numbers 1 molecule per 2500 air molecules, yet it is critical to life.  You mix water, CO2 and sunlight and FEED the World.   Without CO2, we all die. Where’s my Church on this?  Do we let everyone insult our God because we don’t take the time to do 4th grade biology or college atmospheric physics?

Global icing or man’s power to change climate.  Hmm

Photosynthesis is NOT pollution. Why do we build REAL greenhouses?  Not the fake atmosphere kind.  Real greenhouses keep heat in, direct sunlight so plants thrive and explode.  Especially at low heat and light times (winter) they are critical.  God designed our atmosphere, well beyond human capacity, to radiate excessive heat out to space and keep enuf on earth for crops and children to thrive.

Bing Crosby, in White Christmas, sung about “count your blessings instead of sheep”.

In this covenant land, there must be a reason we thrive and why we have so many blessings.  Enough to count, whether we are poor & homeless, by our actions or circumstances, or loaded like Mr. Bezos, Buffet or Zuckerberg.

Why people are still fighting to get in; all the Hollywooders who said they would leave if a certain presidential candidate didn’t get the call, somehow have short term memory.  They are still here.  A little annoyed and throwing tantrums, but none took their privy jets to Venezuela or Cuba and abandoned our great land.

Being a real estate and numbers guy, today is 88,388 days since the original signing….i can see all our Asian friends salivating over that lucky number, packed with 8s.  It took weeks for even England to know a new country was underway.

Yet, the men and families who sacrificed their lives, liberty and property 88,388 days ago knew the rebellion was just and necessary; they in fact, knew they would possibly not survive to reap the fruits of their just Revolution.  These Founders sacrificed everything, families included, for us today.

England’s King preferred to tax without representation his colonies; King George iii was happy to take all he could for his London coffers. Taking what doesn’t belong to us is not an American tradition.  We are a people that by nature want to work hard, expect the fruits of our labor and thereby are a GENEROUS and charitable people.

But, our experience with the monarchist fueled the following, signed at the Pennsylvania statehouse resultant from the 2nd continental congress:

The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America,

“When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.”

This introduction set the pace.  We could no longer be ruled but based on Natural Law we had rights.  America needed self-rule and the colonies wanted to determine their own course.  The intro states freedom is our right and the reasons follow.  The Founders did explain, a lesson we need to reacquaint ourselves with.  In what is known as the Preamble, they continued:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

Did you know the ‘enumerated’ rights above aren’t all we possess, nor that the previous version actually has applicability to today.

Politics was raucous back then as it is today.  You need passion to protect what you have or to seek something new. The drafters listed ‘Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  and Property’ in an earlier draft.

But the upcoming union, as we soon discovered would not be perfect: the slave owning states objected to “property” being called out, since they believed their primarily black slaves WERE property and though human and created by God, they could be OWNED and USED as the slavemasters saw fit.

As a real estate professional and dad of 11, I believe private and real property are critical to a free land.  Fundamental to any true freedom, we must have the right to LIFE.  Without that right, that anyone can kill you or make you a George III or slave, undermines a free and prosperous land.

Look at Venezuela and Hugo Chavez; our young, indoctrinated, mind numbed ‘snowflakes’ think socialism works.  Tell that to the empty shelves of a once prosperous country drained of life, property and liberty; Hugo is dead and gone and his daughter has his billions in Swiss numbered accounts.  Tell that to the people who scavenge for dog meat, to those who once had jobs before Hugo stripped Vene of its property rights and killed off his opposition.

Without a right to live, there is NO liberty nor right to it.  You can’t be free to pursue happiness, to work hard and smart, raise a family, help others, do great things, if you are DEAD or enslaved behind the plow, forced to pick cotton, work a job you don’t want.

The government, like in the 18th century, has no right to demand you work for anyone, nor to tell your employer how much he has to pay you while that government taxes your gas at 35% sales tax rate, takes 13% of your income via taxes, steals you blind for all kinds of ‘welfare’, as we face in California.   For the record, a Revolution took place over King G’s call for a 3 cent tea tax.  Our Taxifornia rulers seem to have no clue, we do not want government welfare breasts in every city, but less or no governance where it isn’t necessary.

We are a People who can self-determine our future; get the education or take the initiative to invent, product, create an app, etc.  Don’t settle for the minimum, People, work to be the best and fight for the good.  But, we ARE members of the same and ONE human race: don’t pull the victim, racist, etc cards out.  You are BETTER than that.  Be the best version of yourself and discover America IS still a great land despite the crises conjured up each day by a prostitician class, no different than King G’s centuries ago.

You need LIFE and LIBERTY to empower the 3rd enumerated right: Pursue Happiness.  Without life, there is no liberty.  Without the twins of life AND liberty, you cannot be anything above a slave.

The Preamble continued:

Followed was the Denunciation section, where the drafters pointed out our long suffering but finally the tax that broke the nation’s back and other abuses could be tolerated no more.

“…We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our Separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, Enemies in War, in Peace Friends.”

America has never been a colonial power; you might disagree, but often we have sent people and stuff, money and strategic help to those in need the world over.  “Enemies in War, in Peace Friends” tells a bunch.  Germany’s 3rd Reich and Hitler, Italy’s Mussolini, the Japanese emperor, England all are our allies today yet we fought wars against them.

Lincoln’s declaration that ALL men are created equal, whether black or free, were free people.  It took 600,000 unCivil deaths to force this point, something that is eroding from within today.   We just sent Navy Seals to Thailand to save 12 soccer boys and coach in a cave.  Hurricane?  First on the spot.  Famine, food and medicine.  We even house the world’s despots in a valuable piece of real estate we call UN HQ in New York.  We seek peace, but fair dealings, hopeful commerce, contracted Alliances, conclude peace and more.  In fact, it is written in the Declaration and the resultant Constitution of these United States.

The Conclusion (hat tip Wikipedia) says a bunch:

And the signers paid an enormous ‘tax’ for their signatures, planting the seeds for a great and hopeful nation.  Yet, today, our nation has lost some of its moorings.

Divine Providence and God all too often is more common in a valley girl “Oh my God!” than the hearts of all of our citizens.  Yet without the Creator, there is no universe, no sun, no earth, no mankind.  No ONE HUMAN RACE.  Nor this benevolent land.

I have warm memories of my father, my dad, and wish him the best in heaven.  Paul fathered 11 kids, and though certainly not perfect; ask all 11 of us who have different memories… but loved all of us. His mistakes, the condition we all are imbued with, varied, but as Bart Millard of “I can only imagine” fame shows us, we can choose to forgive.  Each other, our dads, friends, even the driver who cut you off this morn because he was racing his wife to the hospital.  Like Love, Forgiving another is a choice well worth made.  Now.

If you want perfect, look to where he is, to the Perfect Father, one of the three who have always existed, the Trinity.  On earth, the perfect are the perpetually offended who find no fault with themselves, but spot the postage stamp size fault with everyone else. And show it when all three of them mount their soapboxes to boycott yet another company, shut down another debate, stifle the free exchange of ideas once again, too fearful of the truth to cut their bully pulpits into toothpicks.

The most perfect Father was the first.

Father God, in the Christian worldview, has ALWAYS existed.  That’s a hard feat to top and much harder to understand.  The Father has existed for all eternity, with His Son and the Holy Spirit, three distinct and different persons never called Trinity in the Bible, but it is how we refer often to God today.  Other religions and traditions see God differently, but hear me out.

Simply put, we are in the middle of eternity.  Father God, after He had created the spirit world of angels from which 1/3 rebelled to the dark side to follow a rebel leader, He created 553 sextillion miles across of universe.  Give or take a sextillion.

Father God decided, probably in consultation with His God-mates, to create billions of starts, planets, plants and animals.  Make that trillions of insects, easily verifiable any day in the tropics.

Choose to Know

But, He determined from all eternity to have another being, we call human, who would “know, love and serve Him”.   And live forever and ever and… you get the frightening drift, awesomely incredible: to live with God for all time and infinity and beyond.

With all His abilities, you’d think mere mortal man would accept His ideology.

Father God had started with the simpler parts of creation, rocks and starts, the animal and plant kingdoms.  Then He designed His first human: Adam.

Adam was the first of a different species and certainly NOT a member of the genus animalia.  Man was His most complex to date but easily outdone by His last act of general creation: the incredibly complex and amazing woman.

Eve we call her, though few of us have her picture on the mantle with other ancestors: she IS the mother of the whole human race no matter how much hair, if any you have, your size, language, perceived race based on color: God designed ONE human race to come about through one FIRST COUPLE.

God decided to save the best for last, woman, and save all the rest via a woman, the second Eve, we know as Mary.

Why is there three Persons in the one God?  That’s like asking an ant about thermonuclear physics and rocket science.  Only God knows.  If He always existed with two or 20 Persons, or just Himself, that’s what it would have been.  But it wasn’t.

There is a cost to creating a whole race of beings who have the free will and freedom to make decisions.  We are trying hard to emulate, as both good and evil do, with Artificial intelligence married to robotics, what God did perfectly; let me let you in on a secret: God perfected the art of humanity!  Everything done in imitation is a poor 2nd place.

He knew what He was doing from Perfect Knowledge; infinitely complex cells joined into tissues into organs into systems…into a human body.  Will we come even close, let alone not destroy ourselves in the process?  God only knows.

Manhood and fatherhood are under tremendous assault today; on the political, social and biologic stages.  Just as Father God’s Son, Jesus, is as He predicted, the butt of jokes, cornerstone of cuss and the target of evil.

The rebel force is relentless, you see, under lucifer and his minions; for all time have tried to trash anything and everything Father God created and holds dear: especially His eternal Son manifested in the body of Jesus the Christ.  Evil lies and lies again, deceives at every turn.  We have been warned.  Need an example?

But Father God loves us sooo much that He gave His ONLY Son to us, that we might believe in Him and NOT perish eternally, but have vigorous life for the rest of eternity.

Not all of us believe Him at His Word and we do so at our peril.

Not His peril, for He gave us the best He had in His Son.  All have been forewarned and make choices: none of us will be surprised when facing Father God standing beside his son on the eternal throne.  Jesus, should we believe in Him and follow His direction, will live as long as everyone else, Forever, but in the better place.  Hell DOES exist and not just on earth.  We have been told.  And forewarned.  Which comes before “forgiveness” in most dictionaries.  Avail yourself of it…ask for it. 4Give

We have a Divinely Merciful God, but He must, to be true to Himself and His Word, be a Just God as well.

I understand, like MercyMe’s Bart Millard points out, some dads are monsters; the majority are not.  But, even his father needed a Savior and forgiveness.

Bart chose to forgive his father after much struggle; he then penned the most popular Christian song ever, an outgrowth of both his pain AND his healing.  Watch the movie “I can only imagine”.  Worth the time & $.

But the Perfect Example, God the Father taught us the meaning of total sacrifice, of total Love. When, being Omnipotent (all powerful) He didn’t have to.

This is something, fatherhood is about: putting our wives and children before our needs.  Oddly similar to the calling of moms.  As it is, dads, we are called to act with justice.  To love tenderly and completely.  We are called to serve one another, provide for our families, treat our wives every day like it was honeymoon night.  And most of all, walk humbly with our God.

In the human condition, there are limitless stories, reasons, excuses, gossips, lies but the Truth is out there.  If you are offended by someone or have offended another, seek forgiveness.  Now or sooner.  Hate and spite hurt only the hater and spiter. I hardly think so.  EVERYTHING in the universe was designed to remind us, touch our spiritual hunger for a happy eternity and focus us on God and His Son, Jesus.

Why?  I don’t know why a perfectly happy Godhead did what was done, but thank you God.  I look forward to living happily forever.

Think about that: He created a 35-75 TRILLION celled woman who can take a single cell and in 280 days reproduce an almost exact, but totally individual, copy of herself.

In 9 months, from one to 75,000,000,000,000 cells, organized and ready for life.

What does evil do?  Instead of celebrating the marvel no MAN will ever be able to replicate, evil dispenses abortion for created humanity.   He advocates for killing kids because it doesn’t like God’s work and it rebelled before time against His goodness.

Evil dispenses divorce and limitless daily new confusing gender ideologies to combat healthy, God designed marriage.  Marriage, God’s calling card for a strong, healthy society filled with domestic churches that raise children to know and understand His world.

It took million$ and years of court battles to protect a cake baker from having to design and build an Adam & Steve cake; God already told us at Sodom & Gomorra, after the Delugian Flood of Noah’s time, He doesn’t like man’s wickedness no matter how much the snake of hell influences our ignorance.  Father God would never make something, like a rock to feed the children He loves.  And He made Man for Woman, Adam for Eve & Eve for Adam because He MADE US IN HIS IMAGE  Imago dei.

The Father designed us to be complementary to each other inside the family; mom the nurturer has the breasts that fill with kid milk, something our bipolar society celebrates large on Stormy Daniels but cowers when displayed at the park feeding a newborn.

Until the intelligencia discovered they could, via the Regressive Left, destroy typical male and female, dad and mom roles, man WAS the financial provider most often, and mom nurtured the kids at home.  The resurgence in homeschooling is coming about in part, because it costs more to use daycare and work, draining almost completely the second income.  But, kid you not, children need both parents

The society falls if the domestic churches, the family units, fail.

Choose to Cause Change

But there is good news: a Renaissance of Life, Love & Truth.   America is OUR America. We do not have to sit idly by, suffer testicular amputation and cede our blessed land to the Regressive Leftists.  Yes, they in conjunction with the devils are making a wasteland of academia, families and society, governance et al.  But we CAN take it back.

Starting with fathers being the men they are:

Dads, the BEST gift to your children is to love their mother.

Men, it’s time to both take up our crosses AND take up our chivalric swords.  Our wives need us to, our children even more.  Our Father God demands it.  Christ hopes it.

If this is Father’s Day, celebrate it.  If this is any day BUT father’s day, celebrate it as well but Choose to be a strong leader.  Yes, we are vulnerable at times, but we ARE human.  Look to the Perfect Father God for our example.  Lead by His.  Love fully. Fight courageously.  Live well.

Life was never meant to be fair nor easy.  But it IS worthwhile.

Our culture desperately needs , is dying to see, fathers rise up as the men we are destined to be; the current women at all costs movement will subside.

Certainly, real men do not get shut down by the perpetually offended, like Mr Dorsey of Twitter was for enjoying a healthy chicken sandwich.  Imagine this: a billionaire, apologizing to a guy who likes to lick another guy’s anus, because he threw a tantrum over the billionaire’s choice in culinary delight.  BECAUSE the chicken company’s owner BELIEVES in God and His principles.  Bizarre!  All TwitterJack needed to do was tell the truth: I prefer chicken to feces, making my own culinary choices… fathers, there IS force and hope in numbers.  Just don’t let us get divided, conquered.

Grab your scabbard, Ephesians 6 tells us; put on your armor of God, latch on your breastplate, mount your horse, whether a Mustang or Prius.   Chivalry is not dead, just dormant.

Ask any honest woman or wife: she wants to be lead, to be loved, to by heard, to be cherished.  We are at a crossroads of hope for a better state, country, world.  At no other time in history does our country need fathers to be fathers, men to rise to the ocassion, stop the silliness and hold others accountable as we hold ourselves to the same standard.

Father God designed man for woman and woman for man.  To mutually self-sacrifice, to give each other 100%, to grace the world with children. He designed a whole universe for all this to be.

Evil ones, including billionaire Zuckerbergs and Berkshire Hathaway founders, think killing future Facebookers, Tweeters and real estate purchasers is a smart move because the world is overpopulated.

What insane idiocy!  Just as there is not too much carbon dioxide, there certainly is NOT too many kids.  When God said “Be fruitful and multiply” He taught us His version of Math: there is always room for one more.  After all, He controls the climate, not us.

So, Dads enjoy your day, your new tie or socks, the half cooked eggs your little ones made you.  Know that you ARE critical to the world, to your family, to our country.

I also know there is life after a grave loss and look forward to marrying another 2nd Eve, Mary, come May 18th, 2019. Save the date. Yes, she is Catholic and never married and nuts to want to put up with me.

And I will never want to change out one thing, not one of the 11 or the spouses they choose.  For life IS about discovery, adventure, challenge, living.  And love.

Fathers, Love with a Father God’s Love: completely, unashamedly, sacrificially, totally.  Foreverly.

For there are no trailer hitches on the hearses, no UHaul trailer dragging behind.  Jack and Mark’s billions will be useless to them as your and my few $$ comparatively after we die.  Pray for them: it is a grave responsibility to have billion$ and to invest in satan’s work this side of hell puts them in God’s crosshairs when they face Him soon.

Our heritage is NOT that we bought satan’s evil empire, the planned parenthoodlum lie, that babies are parts to be sold; but that EVERY child we were gifted, is just that: a gift.

And, IF you have your spouse nearby, remind yourself and her, you ARE a father only by and because of her.  You might have made her a wife, but she made you a father.  And she certainly did the heavy lifting.

Hi, all!  Is it just me or has customer service gone the way of the buggy whip?  In my real estate business, your needs as a client ALWaYs come first.  But at the cellular level?

All I wanted to know was which of the three AT&T bills I needed to pay…

Unlike many Americans, I have lots of great kids.  Also, a family plan for our cellular service.

No, not ‘family planning’where they kill the kids and sell body parts like Cecile De Vil at planned parenthoodlums inc.  Of course, supported by Mark & Priscilla Zuckerberg of 1 Hackers Way, who subsequent to getting their child, the mighty son Max, they donated $966 million to PP-Silicon Valley.

A lot of money for the evil empire?  Well, you tell me: it’s enough to abort 3.22 million future Facebook users (apparently, they don’t care how many FB users die before the birth announcements).

Just odd: I thought Facebook wanted to INCREASE their cu$$tomer base,

but I guess eugenics is part of the FB worldwide marketing plan.  3.22 million dead kids who won’t instagram, twit or FiB, adding friends on the heavily advertised New and Improved FB platform since Congressional hearings.

No the family plan at AT&T.   11 lines is what we had, on two bills.   So, i talked to Sally AT&T who said she would need to create an account to get to one account.  Since AT&T only allows 10 lines.  OK, I’ll go along with it.  One bill and save a bunch for keeps.

I deleted two no longer business needed, myfi lines, and an extra iPad to add my business line for my real estate clients.  I feed my 11, empty nesting with 7 today, for 30 years putting my real estate sellers and buyers first.  So, I need a quality phone that operates well.  And when I call or text, that it works.  Not too much to help?

Along the way, AT&T (they are all sales offices today, no customer service people anymore you can look in the eye and cry “HELP!”

One ATyT salesperson talked me into an Apple iPhone 7 big; great phone except the other end (the talkee) heard muffles.  From day one.  Returned to AT&T Excuse center twice and told twice “No, I can hear you fine!”

Third time, the sales guy said, you know you are right!  It IS muffled.  But we don’t fix that here.  You need to go to Apple for diagnostics to show it IS a lemon; weird I bought it on Imperial Brea but have to go to Imperial Brea Mall Apple to fix it.  I guess I’m just another 25 year LACellular~AT&T customer with almost a dozen lines.

Lemons only are good for a summer drink these days, apparently.  NOT in cell universe?

Meanwhile, after taking off two, adding back one, under the magic Ten, I got THREE bills. 

Totally odd. So, I went to my fave AT&T customer service sales office to figure it off and after a chunk of time, they said you need to call AT&T corporate.

Today, we voted!  In Taxifornia, yeah, it may be a moot move to get the prostiticians out, but I called AT&and got Crystal.  She was very helpful, trying hard to sort them out, she agreed a bit odd double billed for the same timeframe same lines.  I said “All I want to know is what I need to pay!”

Crystal said “Could you speak up? You sound muffled” or similar.

I explained it was my recent procurement from At&T of an AT&T Apple iPhone 7+ that was muffled and thank you for noticing and shared my woes a little.  She’s just doing her job.

She asked me: “You know it is under warranty and I can have a new one out to you quickly”.

Huh?  The shock almost made me think vote Democrat but “No, i didn’t know that!”  and told her none of the last three even mentioned this.  So i told her i would take care of that but:

“All I wanted to know was which of the three AT&T bills I needed to pay…”

The First Handoff.

She sent my to Skyler in billing who first mentioned “I can’t hear you…” I mumbled I’m on a new iPhone 7+, have been an iPhone user for a few years since you guys talked me into leaving the Droid in the dust.  And your business unit talked me into saving money by opening a business account, which in Dem and DC circles was true: I paid $100 MORE and got two bills to boot.  Now I have three.  Bills and a headache.

Skyler tried valiantly, so he said he needs to send me to customer care.   I got Ren

SECOND HANDOFF on voting day

Ren picked up and asked me for the same thing the other three had, and I noticed Ren had a beautiful voice, so being that I believe there is only ONE HUMAN RACE, I instinctively asked: “Ren, how’s the weather in the Philippines today?”

She instinctively said, “It’s fine and how about you?”  We were cordial and then after a few minutes, she said “Len, I’m sending you to another person who can help you.”

I don’t mind Tagalog speaking folks doing the jobs Americans can’t from 9,000 miles away.  Sooo…

I waited for 30 seconds and then noticed my undiagnosed iPhone 7+ had no human at the other end.  She sent me to cellular phone limbo and ….

All I wanted to know was which of the three AT&T bills I needed to pay…

American Telegraph & some wireless Tellies is probably a great company.  I will try again after taking #10 and #11 to the dentist.  But, is it unfair to ask:

Where on God’s great and green earth did customer service go? 

But, always be cheerful.  It’s not their fault the world is going loopy.  Sprint quickly to help them see the Verizon at sunset.  I’ll try again in a few.

Anyone on the end of the AT&T line?  I can’t hear you!!

Oh well, maybe I need to Sprint toward to the sunset’s Verizon for T-he Mobile needs of my family and business.  Or is 10 lines too much for AT&T to handle?
