Today’s readings are universally needed but woefully unappreciated,  especially at this interesting time in human history.  Important for we homeschooling moms & dads, as well as traditional and distance learned ones.  Realize God gave David’s son, Solomon, the lottery opportunity, revealing to him the five numbers and the bonus to win! My beloved daughter, Amanda, is quick to point out the IFs, ie “if and when we win the lottery!”  But you ARE blessed beyond measure already if only you look closely…

Are we slaves or free people of God, free to seek wisdom and not the misdirections, the whims of doctrines of a dying culture and society?  YOU, yes YOU are the building blocks of the up and coming Renaissance as the Dark Ages pass away.

“The LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream at night. 
God said, “Ask something of Me and I will give it to you.” 

Solomon was young and following in the greatest King in the Davidic line except for Jesus; yet, he did NOT ask  for the Powerball or California (for the children) lottery numbers:

His answer: ““O LORD, my God, you have made me, your servant, king
to succeed my father David;
but I am a mere youth, not knowing at all how to act. 
I serve you in the midst of the people whom you have chosen,
a people so vast that it cannot be numbered or counted. 
Give your servant, therefore, an understanding heart
to judge your people and to distinguish right from wrong. 
For who is able to govern this vast people of yours?”

Wow!  one simple response from humility by the son of a king, thrust into the limelight to lead the chosen people.  Solomon asked for wisdom, an undeniably important gift of the Holy Spirit.  Our confirmandi (confirmed young people) learn about the gifts and the fruits of the Spirit.  Davidson chose wisdom WITH wisdom

“Because you have asked for this—
not for a long life for yourself,
nor for riches, 
nor for the life of your enemies,
but for understanding so that you may know what is right—
I do as you requested. 
I give you a heart so wise and understanding
that there has never been anyone like you up to now, 
and after you there will come no one to equal you.”

The wisest man of all time. Pretty impressive result.  Many of you know the story appropriate to today’s world, in which two mothers brought their pleas to King Solomon. Do you recall how it turned out?

I I now do as you request. I give you a heart so wise and discerning that there has never been anyone like you until now, nor after you will there be anyone to equal you. In addition, I give you what you have not asked for: I give you such riches and glory that among kings there will be no one like you all your days. And if you walk in my ways, keeping my statutes and commandments, as David your father did, I will give you a long life. Solomon awoke; it was a dream! He went to Jerusalem, stood before the ark of the covenant of the Lord, sacrificed burnt offerings and communion offerings, and gave a feast for all his servants.

Parents and young readers: seek wisdom; the Scripture says to “ask and it shall be given unto you.  Seek and you shall find.  Knock and the door shall be opened unto you…”  God wants to bless you mightily.  Solomon’s time was an incredible time; so is our!  Just because mayhem is around us, does not mean we have to adopt anarchy or even buy in.  We have free will to do good, seek truth, separate right from wrong and reject evil.

  Evidence that God kept His promise to Solomon follows: the highest virtue is love, but do not neglect to pray that the Spirit will guide you and give YOU wisdom to pronounce right judgement.  Our nation, our culture, our world desperately needs men and women of God, willing to seek right over wrong, to do the honorable and honest and right thing.  Rioting, looting, anarchy are NOT from God but from the father of lies, lucifer/satan/devil.   We honor God when we do charitable works for the less fortunate and tell the truth.  Do NOT bear false witness against your neighbor, your parents or children, your president, yes your president even your “enemies”.  Truth can win them over if done properly.  The Story of Two Moms could be a news report in 2020: 

Later, two prostitutes came to the king (Solomon) and stood before him.

17One woman said: “By your leave, my lord, this woman and I live in the same house, and I gave birth in the house while she was present.18On the third day after I gave birth, this woman also gave birth. We were alone; no one else was in the house with us; only the two of us were in the house.19This woman’s son died during the night when she lay on top of him.20So in the middle of the night she got up and took my son from my side, as your servant was sleeping. Then she laid him in her bosom and laid her dead son in my bosom.21

I rose in the morning to nurse my son, and he was dead! But when I examined him in the morning light, I saw it was not the son I had borne.”22The other woman answered, “No! The living one is my son, the dead one is yours.” But the first kept saying, “No! the dead one is your son, the living one is mine!” Thus they argued before the king.

23Then the king said: “One woman claims, ‘This, the living one, is my son, the dead one is yours.’ The other answers, ‘No! The dead one is your son, the living one is mine.’”24The king continued, “Get me a sword.” When they brought the sword before the king,25he said, “Cut the living child in two, and give half to one woman and half to the other.”

26^* The woman whose son was alive, because she was stirred with compassion for her son, said to the king, “Please, my lord, give her the living baby—do not kill it!” But the other said, “It shall be neither mine nor yours. Cut it in two!”  What did Solomon do?

27The king then answered, “Give her (the real mom) the living baby! Do not kill it! She is the mother.”28When all Israel heard the judgment the king had given, they were in awe of him, because they saw that the king had in him the wisdom of God for giving right judgment.

Do not be a slave to evil, nor to the father of deceit.  600,00 died to end one kind of slavery 155 years ago.  Learn that lesson well.  But, other forms of slavery persist.  Truly OUR nation needs our prayers, reform and actions. 

Note that, this is the 17th sunday in ordinary times but nothing is ordinary about these morsels of Truth.

The number 17 is used in the Bible to signify victory; there are numerous examples.  In the physical world, it was the 17th step to the entrance in the Giza Pyramid.  The other pyramids were poor copies of the original; discussion for another time about the Christ Angle and Giza.  But, wisdom and common sense are not valued in today’s world.  Parents: your kids need you to practice sharing your wisdom.  Don’t wait until they are grown, asking for the keys (not to the workshop) to the car or telling you “Daddy, i think i like this boy”   Tempus fugit; time IS short but always remember; it IS a great day to be alive.  

The 2nd reading is important, too:  “Brothers and sisters:
We know that all things work for good for those who love God,
who are called according to his purpose.”   believe it or not, God has known YOU from all eternity and known that YOU will live forever with Him.  He has CALLED you to follow Him, His Son Jesus and the Church Jesus founded.  Think about this carefully:  everyday you wake up, you are a day older.  But you remain in the exact middle of eternity.  Eternity past   Eternity future.  Pray for wisdom, the Rosary IS your weapon & tool of choice.   And remember, God sees your heart: a sharp knife in the hands of a criminal is a weapon; in the hands of a heart surgeon, a tool to give life. 

You probably are sensing it: good and evil, right and wrong, are becoming obvious, like black and white.  Some people, who have evil intentions, are being forgiven, repenting, reconciling, seeking forgiveness and forgiving others. Like your president, who may not be to your liking in all things, but then, before you throw a big stone on the St Mary Magdalene week, look at yourself deeply in the mirror.  What log must you remove before you despise or hate another?  Before you remove the splinter or sawdust from his or her shoulder, remove your forest first.

 Multiple choices are quickly becoming binary choices, like a polarized magnet with north and south ends.

The good seeds and sown weeds scenario.

It’s easy to not care if you don’t see the other,  put the face with her heart and her mind with her life.  “Love thy neighbor”, “help1some1-2day you don’t know” both carry the command for OUR well-being, our survival to look beyond ourselves and make a better world. 

When we help someone else, the first beneficiary is always ourselves.  We FEEL blessed and enervated. 

 Jesus wasn’t into the trivia: He wants us all happy and living “far beyond mortal man”, immortal living forever and ever.  Scary thought? Sometimes!

No one can understand God NOR truly understand they will ALLLLLWays exist beyond death.   Yet, the command for OUR well-being is also pre-empted by the currents of today’s world.  UNTIL we reclaim the ideal and idea that enslaving or killing others is the worst kind of evil, we will not thrive, improve or live a healthy life.  As families and as a country.  Don’t get me wrong: we are THE most blessed nation of earth for some very good reasons, but our current path can only lead to more misery.

This may be the ironic wisdom of Stalin’s evil message that “one death is a tragedy, a million deaths is a statistic.” It harder to kill someone you know, love and see; the unseen humans, not so much!  Sound morbid or wrong?  You tell me in the comments below.  I value your input.  After all, so many are “homeschooling grandpa Len” these days.

One of my beloved sons pointed out on Saturday, it lessens the message, my message to others to “nickname” leaders. His beautiful wife, another son, have done so, as well.   I will stop even though they are accurate portrayals because they turn a human into a caricature.    King Newsom the Red becomes Gov. Newsom; NOT my Savior Xavier becomes AG Becerra again. With all due apologies to those I may have slighted by naming them by their performances.

I will honor my sons and daughters’ wisdom on this. After all, they are ‘homeschooling grandpa Len’; I am NOT perfect.

Well, except for one: the more righteously real name of Covid, “the plague of Xi”.  It is not transference or misdirection in this case because it is immaterial if he used the leaked virus or required it be made in the Wuhan lab: Xi Jingping incubated it in his people late Oct 2019 and sent them via jet to Italy, Spain, the US, etc. …  OR if his lieutenant did the wet work, the dirty deeds, the real Dr. Chen Wei who is the hero of the 2017 nationalist China’s action movie Wolf Warrior I & II. 

That muscular actor “Dr Chen” in 2015 saves the world from Ebola and LaManla.   As it is, the real Dr. Chen is Chen Wei, a major general in the People’s Liberation Army and the virologist who leads the Institute of Bio-engineering at the Academy of Military Medical Sciences.  Xi Jingping is a master propagandist. learning directly from his father who served another megamass murderer, Mao Tse Tung as minister of propaganda. 

These leaders have a certain worldview, as do you and I.  Xi and the CCP knowingly took a controllable virus and turned it into a silent worldwide killer, restricting movement out of Wuhan EXCEPT by international flight.  That IS evil.  As to whether Hollywood or Beijing Pictures is a better disinformationalist, I will leave that to history to decide.

It’s time for each of us to take a long look in the mirror. Are we part of the “good” seed sown?

 Xi is just doing what his worldview dictates: he believes the pure Chinese blood is supreme, a form of Sino racism, if you will.  He is an honest hegemon, looking for the 2020 dynasty separate from the world peoples but using and “conquering” other countries resourcesProof is in his words, movies and actions.  There are a million Chnese Muslim Uighers in 85 concentration work camps as you read this.  Like the 19th century TransAmerican railroad’s builders, the Chinese coolie, Xi uses them for reportedly Nike shoes and other products cheap labor.  He uses sterilization, birth control and abortion on Uighers as well, to control the “inferior” Muslim residents of XiLand.

He incubated the virus, but we can’t blame Xi for HOW we deal with it and each other today or the missteps and successes so far. But he IS the source, incubating for months and sending out until flights were banned on Jan 31st.  By Jan 7th, we already knew it was a particularly severe Flu season, with 166 under 18 yr olds already perishing.  Just like the Swine flu came out of Mexico, Covid19 came from Wuhan.  Undoubtedly, the American left looked at this plague differently than most of the country; evidence is all around us.

The last thing I want to do is fail my children; I only get one shot at that, and statistically I have less years and time to do it than most. 

Each of us has a worldview, the Millennials often different than the boomers, the toddler much different than the mature adult.  The last living relics of true racism, Holocaust survivors dwindling in number. 

Catholics, Lutherans and others may have heard at today’s outdoor Mass or live streaming, Sunday’s Gospel, the shorter, lazier version but sooo appropriate in light of today’s world:

“Jesus proposed another parable to the crowds, saying:
“The kingdom of heaven may be likened to a man
who sowed good seed in his field.
While everyone was asleep his enemy came
and sowed weeds all through the wheat, and then went off.
When the crop grew and bore fruit, the weeds appeared as well.
The slaves of the householder came to him and said,

‘Master, did you not sow good seed in your field?
Where have the weeds come from?’

He answered, ‘An enemy has done this.’
His slaves said to him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’
He replied, ‘No, if you pull up the weeds
you might uproot the wheat along with them.
Let them grow together until harvest;
then at harvest time I will say to the harvesters,
“First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles for burning;
but gather the wheat into my barn.”’”

As Jesus explains His parable, our neighbors are not just those who look like us, think like us, live like us. 

Neighbors include the Bidens, the American left, conservatives, liberals,  small, large, young and old;  Trump lovers, NeverTrumpers, silent majority “fly over country” citizens, the silent coup who tried to kill off Trump and continue to try; the rich, poor.   

God sees, not the superficialities or immutable traits, but the heart and mind of each of His creations.  He desires each to be happy as long as He is: forever.

The good and the evil on the same field of dreams.  No man is completely good but Christ, nor always completely evil.  As Catholics and Christians, not perfect but just forgiven.  The Good Seed and the Sown Weeds must co-exist in our fractured, fallen world.  My attitude is simple: I LEARNED TO NOT HATE ANYONE.  so must you if you haven’t already.

It’s a tough lesson but life giving and healthy.  I don’t hate anyone.  Dislike what some people do, but everyone needs a Savior, needs repentance, reconciliation.  Renewal.  A Renaissance.

Some of my kids and their cousins have kind, good hearts, working through self-examination about racism; are you a racist?  I even bought a book that is  on many knee jerk corporate booklists this summer “White Fragility” to better understand.  I don’t think any of them are racists, but trying to be sensitive to others who have been victimized.

Unless you mind read or belong to the futurist thought police, you CAN’T know if the next person you meet is a racist; so, since we MUST discriminate as humans, don’t assume so. 

Their actions may not even show this.  So, you can spend a lifetime looking for that racist in your work/company, at church or school, your siblings.  Racism means you DON’T believe there is ONE human race, and that some sub “races” are more supreme, ie better, created superior or ARE superior, than another.  BLM Inc., for example (rarely mentioned) is run by many black supremacists.  Huh, blacks can’t think blacks are superior to whites or Polish Germans?  When you say “ALL lives matter!”, ie the truth, you are pummeled.  Yet all lives DO matter. 

BEST solution to real and perceived racism (thinking you are better than another because you exist) is to practice true charity: Help1Some1-2day and MORE if you can. 

You can’t change the world easily.  But you CAN effect it, one needy person at a time, no matter WHAT color they are.  Or just talk talk talk endlessly about THAT other person, a racist behind the tree. The lessons in the new movie, Uncle Tom by Larry Elder, that of MLKing and John Lewis, sheds light on this persistent area of human thought.  But it’s time to focus on other realities in the universe.

My kids’ stepmom Mary and I heard an excellent exorcist recently, (yes, exorcists are real) who has researched and understands the invisible world of angels.  No white or black racism, just “invisible” total racism it turns out: There are “racists” among the angels, one in particular. I know, some of you don’t believe he/she/it exists, but Jesus spoke matter of factly about the devil and those angels, the 1/3 who rejected God’s dominion and sealed their fate.  Believe it or not, Lucifer, one of the top archangels, known as the most powerful and “beautiful” of angels, was ticked off knowing God was going to create humanity.  They don’t have the luck we have: we have a lifetime to follow and decide on Christ and His Church; the first created angels eternal fates are sealed.

The angels’ expert teaches each angel was specifically designed and created with a certain “charism”, talent or function: a specifice virtue like chastity.  If they rebelled, that talent or virtue became their eternal vice (opposite of chastity is obvious) that they use effecting the world, whatever level of angels they are from.  Makes a lot of sense.  A study for another time readers. 

 Lucifer is the ULTIMATE hater, despising God for creating a separate “race” of beings, ie US!  This one being, more than any, is responsible for so many human souls living a forever hell. Yes, Jesus spoke of hell, money, life and the devil.  All four exist.   Read the longer version of the good seeds and sown weeds gospel below for the end game. 

Our enemy is NOT flesh and blood, black or white but the principalities and the powers (different levels) of the “dark side” angels.  Even the American Left are our brothers and sisters.  Yes, they believe taking other peoples’ property, hard earned income, even okaying the taking of human lives by choice (abortion); this is not necessarily what I or you believe. Sadly, the American Left feels supreme over the large families, struggling middle class families, who just want a level playing field, equal justice, fair treatment. 

But they ARE members of the same human race God created; just as Governor Newsom, his aunt Pelosi, Don J Trump, my sons and daughters, your friends, are.

The best solution to any problem is often the simplest. Pray for America and its renewal by a loving God; some believe you can’t find the solutions in America anymore, but that is foolish for one good reason: 

YOU the reader are IN America. You are PART of the solution IF a solution is needed.

It’s not the person, no matter what creed, lineage or color, but their worldviews, beliefs and even actions we disagree with.  Real mature adults can separate the two: the person that matters, the unique, never repeated human being we love or disagree with and the views they hold.  This is missing in our inability to forgive another or believe what God believes: every human CAN change for the better, learn from their past and others’ actions and change.  Greek: Metanoia. 

This author and dad of 11 always assumes the best about another (unless their words and actions prove otherwise): the best about teacher, politician, son/daughter and believes they CAN do better.  Now, I can’t call Newsom king anymore, but this I can: I can help one someone today.

A simple solution is measurable and effective:  Help1Some1-2day…or more if you can.  T Better rendered:

“Do to others whatever you would have them do to you.ⁱ This is the law and the prophets.”

The US Left and others may not realize this is the message of the Transfiguration: Jesus/God in His glory, flanked by the Law (Moses) and the Prophets (Elijah) showed three simple men, Peter, James and John, just how beautiful God on earth was; He believes His creation was good.  These three guys were the LAST on earth to see the Unblemished Lamb in His perfect glory.

We will be resurrected unblemished in our new bodies for eternity: but Jesus will always appear with His blemishes, the wounds, scars, the nail marks that Doubting Thomas saw, as a reminder that Perfect Love existed and exists on earth.  Mother Teresa lived that life, helping dying humans who didn’t even believe in her God but were worthy, in their dignity, of being helped.

OUR neighbors on the American Left will continue to ignore God and try and divide us by so many techniques and so much misdirection; we must stay humble AND…we MUST stay focused on the truth that the GOOD seed, whom I hope you are a part of, are NOT the sown weeds. 

Human “weeds” kill people, destroy buildings, steal things that don’t belong to them; can rioters, looters and arsonists who use a false flag to justify their “sins” be redeemed?  You betcha!  If WE help them see the errors of their ways. 

Look at St Peter: though He loved him, Jesus called him “satan” once.  Yet Peter became Petra, the rock of a whole new Church that the Cornerstone, the Rock of Ages, entrusted with for all time.  It is never too late to change our heart and minds. Until we die.

I am blessed beyond measure.  In a world that doesn’t value children much anymore, I have 11 plus adopted married spouses of a few. My ex-wife by death and the mother of these amazing, still Christ centered kids mostly adults, is in heaven.  Their amazing step-mom Mary, so selfless, is named for Jesus’ mother now resident above as Queen of the Heavens: Regina Coeli. 

Who knows, someday one of these 11 beautiful offspring type people might even marry a Regina Coeli.  Only time will show and tell.   But, pllllleeeeeeeaaaaze, see the good in others.  Start from that platform for your next interaction.  ONLY this way can all lives matter to you.

God did it in a moment, thousands or over billions of years as some believe: I don’t care, as Bill Murray said, “It just doesn’t matter”. 

To Him, since He made us, ALL lives matter, after all.  God did NOT intend us to judge by color or size, age or location. We are told to judge by righteous (character, actions not color) judgement in Matthew 7 but you have to read the whole chapter; judge yes, but with a clean heart.  This is difficult since so many have permanent chips of different sizes on their shoulders.  Want freedom? Take the forest out of your eye before you help someone else remove the splinter in theirs.

All of us are blessed: one of my newer blessings over the last few years, is a large family of ten, amazing, respectful, full of life,  God fearing Catholic loving people.  It is a mixed marriage: mom is female and dad is a man.  I know, there are 160 different gender ideologies but I just follow the Creator’s design.  Not mankind’s latest venture of creating their own; a top angel made that mistake aeons ago.

Like most large families of mixed marriages, there are struggles and joys.  They even home school like this dad whose kids are homeschooling (grandpa Len) him.  Mom’s ancestors are from Asia, dad’s from Africa or some place where melanin is more available, but the only color you will see is the color of red: deep abiding love for each other, respect for others, a sense of life too many need replenishing in this divisive, zany, Covidian world.  

Best journal we have says He made this 553 sextillion mile wide universe, starting with the easy stuff: billions of stars, planets & plants, millions of animals, trillions of insects…but only one human man. But God was NOT done yet as the angels watched.  Think about it: God’s last act of His general Creation, the most complex, beautiful, incredibly complex but infinitely well designed being who can turn a single cell into another human being in 280 days.  WOMAN. 

But as capable as the Trinity, the only God, has been for all eternity past, it’s not easy to create billions of angels and billions of human, all fully autonomous thinking for themselves, sentient, free willed beings.  And not have rebellion. Same on earth as in the heavens.  The first rebel was a big one.

The arrogant, ‘I am god’ is a role that was already taken for all eternity. God is: I AM WHO AM or as the deeply reverential YWHW or Adonai.  Today, God appears in too many swearing situations, but the Israelites wouldn’t even use His name in daily parlance.  But God knows what He is doing; He doesn’t need our counsel: we need His!

That IS the difficulty of being too smart, too beautiful, too talented.  Intelligence, knowledge and wisdom are yes, related but entirely, different things.  Satan/Lucifer wasn’t satisfied being at the top level: he wanted to BE God.  Same problem on earth: too many want to own or control other human beings unfairly. Jimmy Jones gave his contingent of “sheep” humans poisoned kool-aid in Jonestown.   

600,000 Blue and Grey died in the 1860s to continue the path and process the Constitution and Declaration of Independence set up: end slavery in America, just as the slave ships were finally stopped (tho slavery continued) in the time of John Newton, the “Amazing Grace” song writer and slave ship owner who repented of his sins, and William Wilberforce.  If you want to understand racism, control or bias against another, your primer move IS “amazing grace”.  Wisdom comes to those who ask.

SEEK WISDOM NOT CONFORMITY FOR CONFORMITY’S SAKE

In the old testament, when asked what he wished for, Solomon asked for the highest gift: wisdom.   God granted that and gave him the lesser gifts: power, wealth, intelligence, knowledge.  Seek wisdom more than wealth.  Seek to be a part of the solution instead of just talking about it.  Find ways to truly improve ourselves as we help others.  I am a positive realist or a realistic optimist about so many.  I believe all my kids and their offspring will be in heaven forever.  At 68, I can dream still.  Same with those they make contact with, as homeschooled Catholic kids now grown up sharing the same Gospel Peter and the apostles shared two millennia ago.  

“In the longer version, Jesus explains the good seeds and the sown weeds.  “Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.”
He said in reply, “He who sows good seed is the Son of Man,
the field is the world, the good seed the children of the kingdom.
The weeds are the children of the evil one,
and the enemy who sows them is the devil.

The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.
Just as weeds are collected and burned up with fire,
so will it be at the end of the age.
The Son of Man will send his angels,
and they will collect out of his kingdom
all who cause others to sin and all evildoers.
They will throw them into the fiery furnace,
where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth.
Then the righteous will shine like the sun
in the kingdom of their Father.
Whoever has ears ought to hear.”

God gave us TWO ears and only ONE mouth: take that as a strong command to listen and read with “ears that ought to hear”.  I don’t know about you, I prefer being a good seed…not perfect but forgiven and forgiving.  Not a sown and owned weed by the most racist being of all eternity, the devil.

It IS a great day to be alive!

Everyone, Millennial, snowflake and parent, old and young, are trying to stay sane during this zany time of scientists, prostiticians, evil despots, anarchists, viruses and protect our kids.

And of course, deal with the Plague of Xi, the well designed SARS-Cov-2 virus / Covid19 disease. 

And no, Hydroxychloroquine with Zinc and Azithromycin, with doctor oversight is NOT evil: it IS cheap and successful (HCQ covered in another blog).  Problem is it only costs less than $30 for a full regimen vs Remde$ivir which costs 100 times as much.  Follow the science?  We’d love to if so many scientists weren’t so complicit…  Even Facebook, as Matt Franklin found out, suppresses dialogue and the free exchange of ideas.  Too much shadow banners shadow boxing.  Hang in there Matt (my son) and Matt the dad of 3 girls, married to an amazing Golden athlete.

We ARE in this together, some more than others.  Yes, in the same ocean of uncertainty but in different boats.  As a dad of 11, 30 years homeschooling, real estate professional and the overt Virus Hunter, I must update the Safety Guidelines from the various “experts” out there.  As a scientist who practices the scientific method at numerous science fairs over the decades, it is as much an art in many areas.  All of us are scientists by omission or commission.

Vesting means to: “to put (something or someone) into the possession or safekeeping of another“.  It also means “to give official or legal power to”.   God has entrusted each of your children and your spouses to you for a time.  We do not “Own” each other though slavery has existed from the dawn of time, as well as at the dawn of this great country (1776 NOT 1619 NYTimes!) we are blessed to live in..

Question the experts; science is not perfect nor even epidemiologists: the only all knowing is your omniscient God Who created you. Question authority goes back to the sixties, not this Ozian poppy field of conform to every whim or doctrine to get along.

Life is full of risks. IF you want zero risk, dig a big hole and crawl in. Life IS an adventure

I am responsible for the safekeeping, nurturing and future growth of 11 kids, their stepmom, 14 and growing grand kids, and nieces & nephews too numerous to tabulate.

And all these are “Homeschooling Grandpa Len”.  Of course, they keep me in line with their suggestions and requests.  Such is life!

The definition of Responsibility is built into the word: “Ability to RESPOND!” 

But each of us have different ideas, goals, levels of standard of care and viewpoints.  My standard of care as a real estate broker is different than someone who never Think about it: A single college safe zoned 19 yr old has a different vesting: him or herself.  Most reading this, have 1,2 or 13 kids.   As multi-kid (in)vestors, we must take ownership and do due diligence.  Parents are the primary educators of their children, in what we call the “Domestic Churches”.  Each family has this privilege and blessing.  Don’t give it up too easily.

Some things are missing in the CDC and public protocols; though NOT mentioned, I am including them here and you can adopt them in your family safety protocols. 

This I recommend: draw up a family emergency plan, including virus/Covid safety guidelines.  Bacteriological.  Home invasion. How to handle strangers at the door.  Those of you longtime or new homeschoolers who have hired the Home School Legal Defense Association, HSLDA, know what to do if someone comes to your door claiming to be “authority” this or that.  Keep the HSLDA number handy.  The rest of you; be prepared for any and all situations.  Don’t be paranoid, but there are things much more dangerous out there than a contagious virus.

As you know, there is a lot of data to digest on how to protect ourselves and others from the Plague of Xi. Many of you reading this have large or emerging families.  We are blessed as a nation, but  It’s all about reducing risks. Life IS filled with them; the only way to prevent getting hit by a car is never drive or go outside your home. Like the ghost bike pictured above that signifies an encounter between bike rider and vehicle, we must be vigilant.  But it’s the same with drowning; drain your pool, ocean, lake or bath tubs?   So risk reductions to zero may be impossible. 

But, preparation and execution works wonders if EVERYONE in the family understands the plans, their role and what to do.  Write, update, rehearse and do dry runs.

Here’s my humble list to combat the Plague of Xi:

Wash your hands with soap...often.  Grandma was right.

Do it often. 20 seconds at least, in and out of your fingers; it’s only two Hail Marys’ time or equal time for atheists, repeat “Zero, zero…. for 20 seconds”. 

Then wash again.  Time is all we have and these 20 seconds could be the most important.  Be thorough.  I have included a hand washing poster but there are many.  Just be frequent and consider any surface, door knob, etc as a source of viruses.  Germs as Grandma used to call them.  Frequent soap washing is the secret.  Liquid or bar, just do it!

Mask protocol:

Of all the precautions, I believe masking is the most controversial, yet it has both physical and psychological benefits.  And guess what!  It doesn’t hurt IF you do it right.  Just DON’T start believing your ears were designed for the mask: don’t eat with it, sleep with it.  You ARE a critically thinking, smart person as it is!

Maskquerades and masks have been around for centuries; the Iron Mask, the Phantom, bank robbers on Knott’s Berry Farm trains, etc.   

Jennifer Horn, the caped Conservative Crusader on AM870, points out that women do not like their face covered.  No one really does.  But, do not fear them; recognize though that you aren’t brain surgeons or nurses: you don’t need them on 24/7.  Take them off when not in proximity of humans;  if you wash your hands, less chance to infect yourself via the mask.  Wash the cloth ones frequently.  And always be careful not to touch your face unnecessarily when adjusting or removing.

N95 filtration.   And a Face Shield

Fabric pleated double sided mask. The cloth mask has been shown the most effective in general use, according to a recent study.

Mary the Maskmakeer has made 300 of these for the needy including Little Sisters of the Poor, Norbertines, Vin Skully, our bishops and more.  We know of one team of maskmakeers who have made over 53,000 for Indian reservations and the homeless.   The purpose is to stop droplets laden with virus.  Not necessarily to be fashionistas but looking ok IS ok!

Big recommend: Wear a mask when you are within 25 feet of another human to maximize safety for both of you.  If THEY are wearing masks, you lower the physical separation measuring distance to 6 feet (scientists: that’s one 165 Hertz wavelength). 

Three points:

1) studies recently published believe the cloth double fold double sided generally are the most effective.

2)If both are wearing when proximity close, better the odds.  It is ALL about the risks and the odds: and reducing them.

3)  Do it for the psychological health of your neighbors: mental health IS a component of this pandemic.  But, unless you believe it is a fashion statement, you don’t need to wear one if the closest homo sapiens is a mile away.  And maskophiliacs, DON’T pepper spray someone not wearing one.  

Wear a face shield for maximum and extra protection from viral droplets entering your four facial entry points: eye ducts, nose and mouth.  These are connected to your respiratory system.   These are used in hospitals, restaurants etc a portable version of the lexar plastic panels to cut down aerosolized transfer.  But look at the tradeoffs: are you going to live life shrinked wrapped from head to toe?

Covid is a lower respiratory disease that replicates quickly WHEN the host, you or family, has immune system challenges (underlying medical conditions) and gets sufficient droplets loaded with the virus.  Point is, extra protection can only help.   

Life IS a risk: you want to lower it like all maladies. Be careful of the Covid bias syndrome (CBS) danger.  See more at the end of the blog

Wear eye protection.  This is rarely mentioned but you should know viruses are very small.  AND much smaller than the ducts.  Eyes are both the “window to your soul” and part of the sinus/respiratory system.  I wear glasses because my eyesight sucks, but wearing sunglasses helps to reduce the risk.  No, Dr Fauci, we won’t be wearing bug eye goggles like on the Star Wars outer rim lady.

Use hand sanitizers (CDC recommends 60% minimum alcohol content.)  ALSO there are nine NOT recommended with glycol, poisonous alcohol derivatives & other additives.  Only when no soap & water is available.

Remember, water is the universal solvent and disinfectant when used in a conscientiously applied system of facial hygiene amid regular medical care. (Sound like a toothpaste panel?).  I use a belt loop hand sanitizer as well as table top since as a real estate guy I am out and about a lot.

Wash off hand sanitizer residue as quickly as possible.  Reduce the risk; note that Covid is lower respiratory and the aim is to keep the viral load minimized to prevent infection.

Surface disinfecting.  It’s still a good idea for both bacteriological agents and viruses.  Believe it or not, SARS-CoV-2 virus does not have an exclusive contract to scare and infect humans.  If you have small kids in shopping carts, some have gotten chemical burns from the cart handle with their little hands touching what the well meaning basket clerk just used chemicals on.  I’d carry a small spray bottle with soapy water and paper towels for outings outside of the home.  

GLOVES.  I keep a box of 200  disposal gloves and single use surgical masks in my car kit.  Along with an ice chest with chilled bottled water to be a good neighbor.

Viral HOTSPOTS.  Gas pump handles, for one.  Common public sinks not cleaned.  Point is any place can contain viruses and bacterium, so following the protocols above can only help, do what?  Reduce the risk.  You will be doing you and your kids a favor NOT getting the more dangerous flu as well (166 kids died from the most severe flu late 2019 vs 30 for Covid19)

Therapeutics.   So far, the CDC does not recommend any therapies.  But we CAN discuss them; including one that is getting a wierd full court press by “doctors” even though it has been highly successful and safe for immunological diseases, malaria etc: HCQ

Hydroxychloroquine w/ Zinc and Zpak under doctor’s care is about $30-50 for a regimen; it has been shown to be highly successful for reasons worth reviewing. 

Remdesivir is under development but at 60 cents a dose for HCQ vs $3100 for Remdesivir for a full treatment??  Acetaminophen even gets “prescribed”.  Among others. Yet, ask them: Doctors and others are using HCQ as a prophylactic (preventative treatments) since it is proven safe over 5 decades of use by doctors likeCedar-Sinai’s Dr Daniel Wallace (he has 2000 Lupus patients, who use HCQ and no one caught Covid!  And most are elderly.) and the newly released  Henry Ford study.  More on this later. (under construction)

Data is not perfect  There has been considerable corruption of the data set; don’t assume anything.  CASES are Covid positives NOT people taking their last breaths on a ventilator at Covid Hospital Central.  Tho the death rate is plummeting (kid rate is .0000088% for example) but stay vigilant.  Too much $$ and camera lust is going on.

MOUSTACHIOS and Beards.  Dads: keep them trimmed to minimize the retention of aerosolized or virus laden droplets.  You will look better, too!

Remember: you are NOT alive if your risk level is zero.  The only one who can’t get sick or catch a cold or worse is already dead.

Did you know this year was a particularly severe flu season.  166 children perished from the flu before Jan 7th, 2020 because it was a serious flu this year.  Covid takes the oxygen out of the air. Sadly, the unintended consequences of this laser focus are numerous.

Meanwhile 30 total kids have passed away from Covid.  Also, CAUTION:  the data set for this Covid scenario has been corrupted, and irretrievable in many ways.  Too much $$ to get a Covid bonus: $39,000 per death cert has tainted the process of data collection, even today.  I believe this Fed cash cow poisoned governor Cuomo to issue his death sentence for the 593 nursing homes on March 25th, since he could have used 5 free built and staffed hospitals instead of forcing infected into the elderly rooms. 4500 insanely were dumped into the eldercare facilities in NYC.  I have written on these and other subjects at lifeoutloudest.

Helping our neighbor stay safe and secure, is our mission.  The government is responsible for maintaining law, order and safety, but we are responsible to hold THEM accountable and take the initiative.  Remember, we discussed vesting above.

But, stay focused.  Don’t trust all the information on the internet without verifying it; if I missed something, last i checked my birth certificate, I am human.

  You owe it to your family.  Just as I do.  And I KNOW you are capable.  God gave you your kids for a time; make the most of it.  And don’t get so paranoid about Covid over other risks.  Let it sink in enough to keep you prepared and doing what you believe is right for your family. 

EVERY life is precious and yes, 30 kids died from Covid or .000088%.  166 from the severe flu no one discusses. 800 H2O accidents in 2019.  To reduce that risk to zero, as we said above, you’d need to drain all pools, ponds, lakes, oceans and oh yeah, baths.  Drowning killed 30 times as many as covid has.  Both are controllable and preventable with diligence, observation and action.

We must be vigilant in ALL areas but don’t let it turn you into a fearful zombie.  You have family and friends who can help you devise an emergency plan and its various protocols.  More on this later.  But by all means, do NOT treat your family and friends like lepers if they have been exposed or test Covid+.  You CAN’T get it over the phone, Zoom, Facetime or even the internet.   Even if the CDC or some epidemiologist says so.

Covid Bias Syndrome

CBS~Covid Bias Syndrome

Rush shared the story about a woman diagnosed with Covid and kept getting worse and worse; the doctors said there was nothing they could do and she had days to live.  The doctor who told the story requested they do a battery of tests.  It turned out it was Legionnaire’s disease.  She was treated and out in 2.  They traced it to the mask. 

If you reuse, wash them in the machine and dry as frequently as possible.  You only have one life to live and give.  The Covid Bias Syndrome, with profit incentives on covid19 results, creates a human bias to Covid.  The woman almost died.   Some other unintended consequences include isolation related suicides, including much younger (more teens have died from Covid induced suicide than the Plague of Xi itself), increased alcoholism, depression etc.

Two studies (the New England Journal of Medicine Lancet just PULLED them quietly) that linked HCQ plus Z plus Azithromycin to hear disease was BS and the prestigious journals just pulled them due to their scientific fraudulence. No one knows how many lives have been lost due to shadow banning this toddler silliness of a successful, safe and successful anti Covid regimen that costs less than $30 vs Rem$$ which costs $3100 and is yet unproven.   I will add citations for the successful and the bogus anti HCQ loonies later

Now, approaching decade four of the SARS-Cov-48 Sino-designer pandecade panicdemic,  the Bishops of California are meeting to discuss what to do about the soon to be named Emperor of Taxifornia..   Of course, CoVax48 is coming off the production lines at Johnson, Pfizer & Maderna Pharmaceuticals, with the annual tweak of the spike protein “antibody-immunity enhancement” issues still.  They finally admit, with St Anthony Fauci in the grave for five years, there NEVER will be a universal vaccine (like polio or smallpox) for Corona and other respiratory virals.   Mao’s birthday was declared a feast day for Dr Fauci, who’s bones are buried in the meat market outside Wuhan Labs.

For this secret meeting, the Most Reverend Bishop Kevin Vann, still adept at the ivories as ever, offered the Christ Cathedral; though electricity is intermittent or shut off with the abandonment of fossil fuels throughout Newsom’s kingdom; at least, the 10,660 windows provide sunlight and window venting in early summer will help.  Meeting is scheduled for July 4th, 2048.

Bishop Tom will smuggle in the US Constitution, Bishop Tim is bringing the State Constitution (specifically Article 1, section 3-4); for sourcing, his excellency Archbishop Jose Gomez is bringing the Treaty of Guadalupe Hildalgo; ironically, it will be the 200th anniversary of its proclamation of the Treaty at the Christ Cathedral meeting. 

Unfortunately, Blessed Sacramento’s Bishop Jaime Soto has been arrested and may not make the required $2 million in state issued  Pelosi dollars, nicknamed “Do as I say, NOT as I hairdo” dough, to post bond.  Money remains tight over these decades long house arrest and violation of religious rights violations by the Blessed Sacramento castle.

HRH King Newsom the Red… is pleased to announce that phase 661 has been reached in dealing with the California plague of Xi the Merciless that began in October, 2019 in Wuhan, China .

Despite numerous violations by the less relevant Catholic Church in recent weeks, of the required song suppression protocols to protect the holy people of God, the elderly and of course, ” the children”, HRH Newsom believes it is time for him to show mercy and for his subjects to resume the next level of church worship:

Not so much for NYCity style criminal sardine packing.  Compassionately, since Covid19 supposedly could have run rampant in the prisons and to protect other prisoners, HRH demanded a massive release of murderers, rapists, rioters, looters and of course arsonists was necessary.  The state is big enough for everyone and can weather wildfires well.  Except, back then one of those arsonists torched the San Gabriel mission because, as the LA Times puts it, oppression and Spanish colonialism.  Thankfully, the revisionist urinalist historians at the left leaning tower of yuck NYTimes did not realize the oldest church was in their backyard, St Catherine of Alexandria on an island 26 miles off the LA coast.  Missed statue topple opportunity!

Our investigative journalists caught up with His Royal Highness in his 30th year of reign at the Blessed Sacramento Castle.  He had just finished his morning royal court proceedings.  Former Catholic Court jester NOT our Savior Xavier Becerra had new guidelines to provide the willing populace.

HRHNewsom the Red: “Well, the religious freedom division of the Taxifornia Dept of Viral Compliance after their weekly meeting reported to me that, despite scattered evidence of public health endangering vocal worship of Jesus or God inside the state sponsored churches, the outrageous singing episodes have come almost completely to a halt!  The big exception, as usual is that reprobate county of Orange.  We are dealing with our local ordinary in Blessed Sacramento.  After all, equal justice under the law.”

VVG: “What was the catalyst, o great one, nephew of satan’s high priestess of The Church of Negro Harvesting & wholesale baby parts business (it’s “for the children”).  Did she, as the spiritual head of planned parenthood, appear to you in a dream?  Your “O great Queen Aunt Nancy Pelosi RIPWSI?”

Newsom: “WE took a play out of the Martha Stewart IRS playbook.  I believe it was the public arrest of Bishop Jaime Soto to show we in the Castle take public health very seriously. 

Yes, my subconscious saw an image that Stretched through the night. More like a nightmare.  All I remember is a multi-colored cloth, like that techno-colored dream coast Joseph had in OT, hanging around her neck.  I recall it was the West African slave master’s Kente cloth Auntie wore on bended knee during the BLM~Antifastan uprisings in her last days as speaker.”

VVG: “Sad to hear about Auntie’s sudden death this month, although she was 108 years along.  If we might ask, Bishop Soto is believed to be an amazing leader in the Church, well, what is left of it here in Taxifornia.  He has worked tirelessly to meet your demands for well, sometimes unscientific and spurious requirements on private citizens.  We investigative journalists realize you are king of the scam, your awesomeness one.

To this day, despite the massive cooldown of the Maunder and Dalton Minimum decreased solar heat in the 2020s and 2030s, the peons STILL believe the manmade climate change rubbish.  Only the ignorant can’t see the scam your kind perpetrated: ONE molecule of carbon dioxide per every 2500 air molecule can’t do squat to affect the temps.  I still love former president Michelle Obama’s hubby, FMOTUS Barack Barry Soetoro, scamming the world that Denali would be covered due to CO2.  21,000 feet.  What a rouse. VSS666 heard a melody come from the nearly empty building, then shot a photo at just the right angle like our famous OC Beach VSS shoot forcing me to shut down Newport & Hungtington for the safety of the children. Her seminal work made 100 people look like thousands.  For her vigilant work, we promoted her to director of the VSS OC bureau.  As a rookie back in preCovid48 days in 2020, VSS#666 snitched on the music team at St Thomas More for having more than two music ministers at the 8am Mass early in this pandemic. Imagine, you don’t really need music people.  You don’t need priests in fact; but we believe in Religious Freedom as encased in the California and US Constitutions; we still honor these ancient documents in Taxifornia.  Just common sense regulations for “the safety of the children”.

VSS#666’s juvenile mistake was to NOT remain for the next Mass at Thomas More to catch a whole slew of singers at the 10am; she could have complained to the pastor and filed a report with our DVC.  And, we can’t depend on Antifastan to burn down the churches, like they did with the San Gabriel mission in the early stages of this crazy pandemic.  So, artificially restricting them is the best idea.

God knows, i am diverse though I hate Catholics and Orange Countians and Winery Competition.  In that order. 

The historical irony is, Thomas Moore had the audacity to tell one of my predecessors in England he was wrong in telling the truth to the 8th King Henry, that adultery with Anne was wrong.  You DON’T defy a King, even in a Federated Republic like ours.”

VVG: “your righteous royalness, since you lowered the max number acceptable (for the safety of the children of course) to 25 from 100 back in late 2020, we can see why St Norberts was empty; and Bishop Soto, who is the ordinary for the Blessed Sacramento CAthedral, with the Blessed Sacrament in the middle behind the Blessed SAcrament altar.  ON the Blessed Sacramento River of course…”

Newsom interrupts:  “Is there a question coming VVG? Or just another rambling monologue.”

VGG: Yes, my ‘lege.  Two: can you cite one royal edict from the past you just love.  2nd: What melody or song caused you to throw a royal tantrum, O Petty Tyrant of the People?”

Newsom: “watch your mouth.  I already expelled “Just the News” John Solomon and Sarah Carter for asking non prescreened questions. 

Hmm…I am particularly fond of shutting down the Church completely on July 13, 2020. 

I had just shut down singing and to my surprise many of the Churches complied. So this emboldened me to use the confusing and unscientific data as an excuse to shut them down yet again.

VVG: What about planned parenthood.  Did you shut them down as well?

King Newsom: Oh you mean my Queen Aunt Pelosi’s favorite church of satan (May she Rest In Peace Wherever She Is)?  Of course not.  Not once during the Covid19 thru Covid48 have we interrupted their elective surgeries schedule.  Parts demand for black hearts and livers never subsided, despite the occasional ambulance showing up.  I am proud it is the ONLY church we kept open for services, servicing the loaded wombs of so many minorities that yielded excellent specimens (and speciwomen) for our med lab buyers worldwide.

In case you don’t know Catholic lore, that July 13th was the date in 1917 where the Catholic sheep believe Mary appeared to three kids in Fatima, Portugal.  What fools!  Mary doesn’t get frequent flyer miles appearing all over the world.  Total superstition. Back then, the bishops of California believed the words this figment of their imagination said:  “The children then looked up at Our Lady, wo said to them so kindly and so sadly:

“You have seen hell where the souls of poor sinners go.  To save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart…” 

 I’ve never liked Catholics; but if they want hell, I can deliver it with or without a mask. Ask Bishop Soto…”

By the way, the song I despised was an ancient one with the title of “How Can I Keep From Singing?”.  We were told by our perpetual church-state negotiating team that earlier in his ministry, Bishop Soto favored this particular song, a serious threat against the state and the crown.”

VVG: “With all due respect, O gracious keeper of the Taxifornia Treasury and Billion Dollar storehouse of defective Chinese masks, how can a song hurt you…err, we mean, the health of Taxifornia’s paupers and minions?”

July 4th’s Declaration of Colonial Independence was NOT the first.

Fatherhood IS an essential job, even when the fathers in the fatherhood aren’t seen as that important in the Post Millennial patriarchal social media saturated world we live in. And yes EVERY job under the Plague of Xi is critical for someone. 

Happy daday dads! Actually, happy dad year and family life!  We NEED you.  Even national talk show host, Jennifer Horn, loves her dad and considers him essential.  

Do you know a good father?  Most of you reading this actually came through a mother who had a man she married who turned her INTO that mother with you inside.  That’s a mouthful…

But many in our enlightened society believes men in general and dads in particular are expendable he should just go boil the water, learn laMaze and get out of the way once the kidling crowns on the way out of the birth canal.

Some have or had an excellent relationship with their dad, the more endearing term for father.  Father God sees all, after all: some have had disastrous times with papa.  Father’s Day or any day is good to celebrate him; if he did you wrong, which only you know, good time to push the ten pound chip off your tired shoulder and forgive him.  Yes, he probably doesn’t deserve it, but forgiveness and being forgiven is the most healing thing one can do at times.  Or maybe he does, and the misunderstanding happened both ways.  Having that reconciliation, having your dad back before he or you go six feet down.

If he treated you like an angel or saint, then get him that tie; or make him a handmade something or other, because he has enuf stuff to stuff a heShed.

Even though God designed woman incredibly complex and created her last, Father God did have a role in mind for dad.

In the post WWII 50s, it was sole provider while mom had the kids at home, got them to school, cooked the meals, etc.  In the 60s, fathers in too many homes became less relevant due to LBJ’s poverty war.   Haight Asbury’s long hair hipsters came on the scene, who became today’s radical left Harvard tenured professors of indoctrinating poison.  Ever hear of the Ivy League’s finest, the Prophet Alexandria (Ocasio Cortez)? who thinks our world’s over in 12 because of the terrorist substance carbon dioxide?  Indoctrination indeed… Yes, there are good professors.

I knew one, Thomas Aquinas College parental alumnus Professor Steven Atchley, whom I’d like to dedicate this Fatherhood piece to…this was his first father’s day in heaven. And the first the Atchley offsping are fatherless on earth.

I didn’t know him that well, except at occasional homeschool related gatherings, but he is the consummate father who put his beautiful wife Patrice and their kids before HIS needs.

So if your dad, like Bilbo Baggins, is off on a new adventure beyond earth, think and pray for him.

Fathers called dads are blessed.  Not just the amazing homeschooling dads, the dads of all shapes and sizes worldwide, but all fathers.

  Yes, we dads screw up, do stupid at times.  But then, if YOU the reader are perfect, enjoy your geography: you must be in heaven or well…hell o number nine.  Perfection is what we work towards, but not in the genetic code for homo sapiens sapiens.

Some dads work two maybe three jobs to make ends meet these days.  Yes, women and moms are essential too, AT home or  IN the workforce, or both,  a notable change from 50 years ago where parents share burdens and joys in miraculously good ways…some not so good.

Much like the fatherless ness that plagues inner city families, especially of the Negro persuasion.  This goes back to LBJ and creating a $$ incentive NOT to have a father in the home to fight poverty; funny, his efforts directly has fueled enormous pain and suffering.  700 mainly black youth killed by other black young men last year in Chicago, did NOT die because all 700 murderers had a dad in their home.  The exact opposite, IF we cared to go deep about why people kill people, is true.  Maybe one or three?

Look at the good examples: my son Matt has four kids (no, he didn’t gestate them, his lovely wife Emily did) in the Sa Diego area, raising them as a couple to be Godly good Catholic citizens in a zany world; both are professionals workwise but learning parental excellence every day.  Truth be told, this dad is definitely a life long learner, with enough stakes and mistakes to fill a Tuff Shed.

That’s why plank three in my 4 plank mantra (BKind 4Give  B4Given  Help1Some1-2day) is so important; yes we are falsely accused of burning the toast, talking too loud, committing child abuse (Dr. Tenured Professor Lizzie Lighthead of Harvard Law article “Risks of Homeschooling”) claims that because we homeschool, the oldest profession, we are serial child abusers.

All 2 million homeschoolers by choice, local learning, not forced via distance learning to do so.  What a hack and loony ivory tower academic disguised as a solid researching “author”.  Hit job.

But, we can forgive and be forgiven. Hey smug brainiac, you are human:  there is always three phalanges aimed at your face when you point the index finger at another.

The kid that made me a TAC parental alum, Nathan and Jen, TAC alum too, have raised five foster kids in a northeasterly state…they love each and every one and now have three fostering along.

If the stars and courts lined up, they would adopt em all, and take another 7 for jollies.  Today, father Nathan and mom Jen had a returnee, Javarre come by on his 3rd birthday because birth mom so appreciated their love for the child she bore.  Nathan and Jen are patient, ready to adopt when they are allowed to adopt.  The best kind of a woman’s right to choose….Life.

Fostering is a noble profession, critical in this fractured culture today, where divorce is more common than sand and sanity.  Every body should foster a child…or at least mentor an at-risk kid near them, in this culture which chomps, chews and spits out kids like a pitcher’s nicotine chaw mouthful.  Kids need dads and moms.  Parental units, vice versa!  God created us this way: He made trillions of insects but only one dad and one mom to populate the 3rd rock from the sun.

There are all kinds of dads, not necessarily by scientific genetics means: adoption, step parenting, coach mentoring, etc.  I was a single dad for seven years and I know it is hard but worth it; single momhood still is a tough way to raise the NextGen.  Take Societal Evolution 101, with guest lecturer Mrs Doubtfire.

But we do need, in this so blessed country,to correct the solvable problems. A big one is building up the fractured state of familyhood in the neighborhoods, which have been derailed by this godless anarchical society of the last decades.  But hope springs Eternal.  We can do this.

Tulsa, Southern Democrats stronghold, is the same place where a century later, Trump’s rally was pranked by Chinese owned TikTok teens reserving a million tickets to depress the turnout.  There was nothing depressing about the energy at the rally, but proof dirty tricks and cheating is not beyond sympathizers for the party of slavery, secession and Jim Crow segregation.

The trigger in Tulsa, May 30th 1921 was a rush to judgement witness on Memorial Monday:

19 year old Dick Rowland, due to Jim Crow segregation laws, had to go next door; he had permission to use a restroom at the top of the Drexel Bldg. 

  17 yr old Sarah Page operated the elevator; the most plausible explanation of many was: “A common explanation often offered is that Dick Rowland tripped as he got onto the elevator and, as he tried to catch his fall, he grabbed onto the arm of Sarah Page, who then screamed”

Her scream led to said witness.  Many people knew Mr. Rowland, a shoe surface engineer,  as a nice young man working at the shoeshine parlor next door and were shocked he was the “assailant”.

In fact, Sara Page refused to file a police report, saying he just had grabbed her arm.  Sometimes adults act less than adults.

Irony how this could be played out today, 100 years later, with destruction in mainly one party controlled major cities.  Truth didn’t matter in 1921.  And 55 years after Civil War bloodshed, 800 in the hospital and 36 dead, black and white.  At least today, the rioters, arsonists and looters aren’t using drones.

But, remember if any Civil War statue (or Lincoln himself) still stands, 600,000 people died leading up to the Juneteenth incidents in 1865.  Apparently, Tulsa didn’t get the message, just as Galveston, right away.

Juneteenth is rooted in a document undelivered, a proclamation slow to get to the Lone Star state in the 1860s.  Here is that story:

Southern Democrats, from the party founded in 1854, were not happy.  Even Senator Robert Byrd, KKK king, centuries later did not agree and became the Clintons’ mentor.  But truth is well, truth.

ALL slaves go free.  ALL humans have a right to life, to liberty, to property and the right to pursue being happy.

“Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. Dating back to 1865, it was on June 19th that the Union soldiers, led by Major General Gordon Granger, landed at Galveston, Texas with news that the war had ended and that the enslaved were now free.

Note that this was two and a half years after President Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation – which had become official January 1, 1863.

Most American History buffs know the Republican party was the party founded by abolitionists, who were trying to free humans owned as property, the slaves.

But, giving up things you own, in this case precious human beings, doesn’t often happen without a fight.

“The Emancipation Proclamation had little impact on the Texans due to the minimal number of Union troops to enforce the new Executive Order. Often told is the story of a messenger who was murdered on his way to Texas with the news of freedom. All of which, or none of these versions could be true. Certainly, for some, President Lincoln’s authority over the rebellious states was in question. The word didn’t get to Texas, in part, because smart phones and satellites were 120 years away.  But, there also was a reluctance to turn your black (or white if you were a white slave) property into human and have to pay them as employees.

Here is Lincoln’s next bit:        General Order Number 3   ALL slaves are free.

“The people of Texas are informed that in accordance

with a Proclamation from the Executive of the United States,

all slaves are free. This involves an absolute equality of rights

and rights of property between former masters and slaves,

and the connection heretofore existing between them becomes

that between employer and hired laborer.”

Talk about creating Human Resources Departments with one swoop of the wand.  But, in this Covid hysteria as we battle the Plague of Xi, always look for relief: BBQ!  But first, look at the first reactions to the delayed news…

The reactions to this profound news ranged from pure shock to immediate jubilation. While many lingered to learn of this new employer to employee relationship, many left before these offers were completely off the lips of their former ‘masters’ – attesting to the varying conditions on the plantations and the realization of freedom. Even with nowhere to go, many felt that leaving the plantation would be their first grasp of freedom. North was a logical destination and for many it represented true freedom, while the desire to reach family members in neighboring states drove some into Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma. Settling into these new areas as free men and women brought on new realities and the challenges of establishing a heretofore non-existent status for black people in America. Recounting the memories of that great day in June of 1865 and its festivities would serve as motivation as well as a release from the growing pressures encountered in their new territories.

The celebration of June 19^th was coined “Juneteenth” and grew with more participation from descendants. The Juneteenth celebration was a time for reassuring each other, for praying and for gathering remaining family members. Juneteenth continued to be highly revered in Texas decades later, with many former slaves and descendants making an annual pilgrimage back to Galveston on this date.

Food and Fun!

A range of activities were provided to entertain the masses, many of which continue in tradition today. Rodeos, fishing, barbecuing and baseball are just a few of the typical Juneteenth activities you may witness today. Juneteenth almost always focused on education and self improvement. Thus, often guest speakers are brought in and the elders are called upon to recount the events of the past. Prayer services were also a major part of these celebrations. 

Certain foods became popular and subsequently synonymous with Juneteenth celebrations such as strawberry soda-pop. More traditional and just as popular was the barbecuing, through which Juneteenth participants could share in the spirit and aromas that their ancestors – the newly emancipated African Americans, would have experienced during their ceremonies. Hence, the barbecue pit is often established as the center of attention at Juneteenth celebrations.

Food was abundant because everyone prepared a special dish. Meats such as lamb, pork and beef which were not available everyday were brought on this special occasion. A true Juneteenth celebrations left visitors well satisfied and with enough conversation to last until the next.

Dress was also an important element in early Juneteenth customs and is often still taken seriously, particularly by the direct descendants who can make the connection to this tradition’s roots. During slavery there were laws on the books in many areas that prohibited or limited the dressing of the enslaved. During the initial days of the emancipation celebrations, there are accounts of former slaves tossing their ragged garments into the creeks and rivers and adorning themselves with clothing taken from the plantations belonging to their former ‘masters’.

So, people, if you were a slave on a Southern Democrat plantation or in Galveston of the Lone Star state, I will pray for you.  And if you can prove you worked the cotton fields as a slave, I will pay you three fifths of a $20 bill in rePAIRations for your pain.

If NOT, let’s figure out the best way to help get out of this Dark Ages of Radical Anarchy.   And begin or restart the American Renaissance.
