Recently, I answered one of the toughest questions ever asked by a great but distraught mom: “Where do you think Nick is?”

Sunday afternoon, Jan 28, 2018, Nick was riding in the family’s car, apparently asleep,

Patty & Fred with their son, Nick

and the car launched 60 feet off the freeway and came to rest upside down on its roof.

Later in the week, I called Nick’s mom, Patty to get more of the details.  Our family of 11 has long known this family of 9.  Mom and dad generously adopted all of their amazing kids with the youngest now a teen.  I saw Dad in the hospital, from which he is now out, but faces serious re-hab for quite a while; the trauma in the family will need recuperative help a lot longer, including the driver who was one of the kids.

Nick did not survive the freeway launch.

Nicholas Duarte, only 22 years old, unfortunately did not survive the accident.  Fred (their father) suffered major injuries, is hospitalized and will have to continue his healing at a re-hab facility.  Freddy and Joseph are traumatized and need help too.

For those of you who know the Duarte Family, you know what an amazing, tight knit, God loving family they are. Fred and Patty adopted all 9 of their kids and have given each one a loving, caring and faith filled home to grow up in.

Losing Nick has been so incredibly painful.
To know Nick was to love him!  Nick was autistic, yet despite his disability, he always had a smile on his face and was always willing to help anyone in need.  He also had a part time job with UPS and really enjoyed working there and had high hopes and dreams of continuing his career with them. He also had the dream of one day becoming a Bounty Hunter.

I have been friends with the Duarte’s since I was 12.  We lived in the same neighborhood for many years until the Duarte’s lost their home and had to move.  But that didn’t stop us from remaining friends!I recently had Nick help at a tennis tournament I was working at.  He did a fantastic job and charmed everyone he came in contact with!

Nick, Freddy, Joseph and I kept in touch and saw each other all the time.  They are my second family.

Contemplating what to say to Mrs. Duarte, i had pulled over to the side of the road.  I asked her what had happened, having pieced some of the story from my daughter, Bri’s, account earlier in the day.

I asked Patty where had they been and where was Nick at the time.  Nick had just left Our Lady of the Pillar in Santa Ana and was heading to Grand Terrace in San Bernardino county.  The boys left in one car while mom and some of the girls helped with Confirmation prep after Mass.  The Duartes had lost their beautiful home in Santa Ana a few years ago and just bought their current, where they could afford, in San Bernardino county.  This hour drive each way was a common routine.

They were still volunteering and running the confirmation program at Pilar, despite the hour drive.  This is the kind of family that makes America great and God and His mom smile broadly.

I asked Patty “what had he just done?”  She told me Nick had served on the altar at Mass.  Here’s a 22 year old boy now man, autism just adding to his charm, who had just served the Lord, consumed the Lord in the Eucharist and was asleep in a car upon impact.   “Patty, I have no doubt, Nick is in heaven.”

Consolation without the truth is empty.  Everyone reading this should take heed of the warning: we only have 525,600 minutes in each year, yet we do NOT know the last minute, let alone the last year or second, we have.  ONLY the Alpha and the Omega, Jesus our Saviour, believing in Him guarantees us a good spot forever and beyond. I told Patty he woke up to Jesus; maybe Mary welcomed him home.  Imagine that, taking a nap riding in the car and waking up to heaven. I also suggested my wife, Donna or Cathy (Lipsky), two moms who knew him, may have been there to welcome him.

All the super smart theologizing whiz bang theo intelligentia aside, we don’t have all the answers but the framework is very clear: Believing in the Son of God, Jesus, the true Xavier (not our sad California SecState) of the world, is how we attain HEAVEN.

2 Corinthians chapter 5, starting at verse six puts it beautifully:

“So we are always courageous, although we know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord,7for we walk by faith, not by sight.8Yet we are courageous, and we would rather leave the body and go home to the Lord.^e9Therefore, we aspire to please him, whether we are at home or away.10For we must all appear^* before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive recompense, according to what he did in the body, whether good or evil.”

Paul was pretty specific, even in the New American translation.

The wise 1897 editor of the Sun responded to Virginia’s small minded friends:

When Patty asked, I hesitated for only a nanosecond.  I told her I don’t say this flippantly or to console with syrupy “of course he’s in a better place”.  TOO MANY people die today who have denied God, who deny Jesus is God or that God exists.  It ISN”T true that everyone goes to heaven or purgatory.  Some buy their eternal debit card to hell.

As a father of 11, I worry (sorry St Pio!) that all my 11, their spouses and children, make it to heaven.  Same with many of my sibs who think there is a grand canyon wide path to the happy eternal returns.  There isn’t.  Yes, I know more will make it than we know; many we think should be there, won’t.

Frankly, we womanify or andromorphize God, believe God loves soooo much that everyone will be in heaven even though He’s given us the freedom to say No and die.  Forever.

He is a just God that believes US at OUR word; we need to do the same: Believe HIM!  He went through a lot of trouble to tell us Whom He is and for the Father’s Son to die that we might live.  I know it’s hard sometimes to understand let alone believe.  

Like Virginia’s editor, we are surrounded by billions of 100 trillion celled entities called woman or man, humans that are autonomous living miracles surrounded by miracles.  We didn’t just evolve from primordial soup; believing this is simply ignorance or arrogance.

The editor: “In this great universe of ours, man is a mere insect, an ant, in his intellect as compared with the boundless world about him, as measured by the intelligence capable of grasping the whole of truth and knowledge.”  The Trinity has ALWAYS existed, and as God, grasps the whole of truth,of knowledge and loved us enough to make us each unique, ready for eternity.

Of course, I hope ‘All IN!” like the Texas Hold Em cry,  but I trust God at his word: In Matthew, Jesus told us:

Jesus said to his disciples: “Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather, be afraid of the one who can destroy both soul and body in Gehenna. Are not two sparrows sold for a small coin? Yet not one of them falls to the ground without your Father’s knowledge. Even all the hairs of your head are counted. So do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows. Everyone who acknowledges me before others I will acknowledge before my heavenly Father. But whoever denies me before others, I will deny before my heavenly Father.”

I plead with you, as I plead with my kids:  DON’T DENY Jesus.  He has an incredible eternity ahead for you.  Don’t let anyone else steal YOUR eternity from you; trust me, that person is not a friend and if he or she ends up in hell, he or she will have plenty of company to share pain forever. You do no one any good if you miss heaven.

Why do people do this to themselves?  I live in the real world, why do some people not?

“Oh, i don’t like to fear God, it’s not fair. If i have to fear Him to live forever, I don’t want to”  Be careful what you hope and wish for.

Uhh, hello!  Knowing that you have a loving God and believing in Him leads you on a tightrope or narrow path for a few years, is not unbridled “fear” but realistic wisdom.

Folks, like what motivated Patty’s question, eternity NEVER ENDS. NEVER!  If I need to jolt you into that reality, this is it.

As Virgina was told, “Yes, Patty, there is a new Santa Claus in heaven.  A new St Nick as of Jan 28, 2018, about 4 or 5 pm.  St Nicholas of Myra was a very generous soul who became bishop in the 4th century.  St Nicholas of Duarte or of St. Anne, of Santa Ana, a 21st Century 20-something resident of  Grand Terrace just before Heaven, also is a generous man who believes, present grammatical tense,  in a God Who loves him.

Fred and Patty, Victoria, Tawnie, Erica, Becky, Jasmine, Joseph, Freddy, Julie: your son and brother St Nick may be 22 in earth years old, but he is now “Good young St. Nicholas of Heaven.”

“Yes, Virginia mom Patty, there is a new heavenly Santa Claus. He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist”…your Nicholas is just in a different and better place. We mourn but he rejoices, though he misses his loving mom, devoted dad and sibs.

Yes, St. Nick of Duarte DOES exist.  Like the city, Duarte also means “prosperous guardian” eerily similar to whom the other St Nicholas, of Myra Turkey was: a generous guardian of the needy.

You have a family member who has been a joy on earth, and like St Therese, his best work will come in heaven praying continuously for each and everyone of you to live forever with HIM when your hour arrives.  As i pray daily for all my own children as well.

To: Freddy, I live in the real world as you do. Mistakes happen but please fear not: your brother loves you more now, because he knows things neither you, your dad nor I can know.  He wants you to know that he loves you, mom and dad and the kids, deeply and is so joyous. 

If Nick could supernaturally text message you, he’d say something like this: “Freddy, my brother, I forgave you the instant I saw Mary and Jesus; things happen for a reason. His plans are much greater than ours. I forgave you the very moment I realized I wasn’t in a car, because there was nothing evil to forgive.  I’ll tell you more about what it was like to wake up seeing such an amazing sight when I see you next.

I want you to promise me, Freddy you will forgive yourself THIS very moment.  It is true “eye has not seen, ear has not heard…” what heaven is all about, what awaits those who love Jesus, His Father and the Spirit, His mom Mary, the Saints…  it is INCREDIBLE where I am now.  God’s plan was not my plan but God is LOVE, He is happily eternal.  As

Welcome, Nick Duarte.  There’s always room for one more Nick!

I am now.

~No school shootings in home schools (220 pubic school shootings since 2012 per LATimes); the only abuse is the wear and tear on reused texts. No $140,040,000 sex ed baking classes. LAUSD paid $40,000 to the teech (Mr. Berndt) for his semen saturated sandwich cookies;$140 million to the families when his blind cookie test was discovered. 

~Each 40 kid conventional public classroom will get $641,160 in 2018-19 fiscal ($16,029 in ADA $$ per student).  Teachers only see 6-8% of that: do books cost $540,000 per classroom these days?  I know college texts are steep, but where does the 90% go?

~Rare home school grads need remedial math and English; public ed undergrads need 28-40% of the time before university; 50% for junior college. Colleges seek out home schooled graduates because they think critically, have decent study habits and well, are respectful in the main.  Plus, saves the campuses money by not providing high school classes on university grounds.

Just odd. Does Medina (D-Riverside) really want to focus his laser light on education trends?  Even light amplification by the stimulated emission of radiation beams spread out!  His teacher friends in the ed establishment may not want the reflected light on their results.

For the record, EVERY parent in America home schools ie educates their young; the divergent choice happens at age 6 or maybe 4; Some CalEd Inc. radicals want to shorten the time between birth and their access to the latest ADA child; they would love a chute from the 2nd floor labor&delivery or the maternity ward directly into a school building, as long as we taxpayers pony up the 40% compulsory ed budget paid out off the top of the California budget.

In our household, we have raised 11 kids and domicilic pedagogy or home based education has been going on for 30 years; a big thanks to my beautiful wife and daughters; sons, too, for their help.

Down to the last two in high school, it has been a great adventure.  One I would love to repeat; my wife, if i asked her, would agree. Along the way we served three decades as Catholic youth directors and related, and I started in real estate 30 years ago to have more flexibility in doing our first calling.  I love my clients and continue to put them first, as required.

“There have been 220 shootings on school campuses in the U.S. since 20 children and six adults were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary school in Newtown, Conn. on Dec. 14, 2012”    And this stat does not include knifings, bullying, teasing, beatings etc on school campuses either.

Fires are not the problem, nor really are guns: it’s killings made easier by larger concentrations of non-related children “cornered”  in buildings making easy targets for the disgruntled, the dispassionate, the sociopaths and your typical Islamic jihadist terrorists.

Mr Medina’s main concern sadly is to mask the real issues public education cannot address and not solve them by demonizing caring, loving parents who have chosen the Homeschooling lifestyle and WAY of life.

Private schools police their own; so should public classrooms with common sense.

In case you don’t have Wikipedia, the first school killing was July 26, 1764 in Greencastle Pennsylvania by four native Americans.  It really wasn’t a school shooting per se, since only the teacher, Enoch Brown, was shot dead by the Lenape Delaware American indians.  The nine kids died due to “melee weapons”, including tomohawks and sharp knives.

Speaking of dangerous knives and child welfare checks for fire annually, not all seeds are allowed to grow to adulthood.  We lose 3000 seedlings a day in America, including over 500 per diem in Taxifornia alone.

Classroom sizes are optimum, generally under 12, in home based schooling.  But, we do have another type of California school size reduction program using the aforementioned knives already.

These student reduction devices are called “currettes” and shoved, by doctors of death, up the vaginas of distraught mothers killing 1 in 3 of future California kindergartners.  Often, public school teens, without parental permission, have future students extracted from their maternal bodies at the local “Aborters without Borders” mill.

You may not know but routinely, public school nurses discern it is better to do a field trip with pregnant 15 year old Sally to the closest planned parenthood facilities than tell mom and dad their daughter is a mom impregnated by a classmate or adult.  Google is you doubt.  But these field trips to the mills proves comprehensive sex education is successful: teach a kid to do math, they calculate.  Teach a child how to diagram a sentence, they write stories.  Teach a middle schooler how to have sex, they practice what they are taught.  Sadly, there is more remedial classes in Math and English required after high school, then any other.  Pubescent girls and boys learn the 50 Shades S&M free sex curriculum well.

What isn’t discussed, is this mass killing limits significantly, the amount of average daily attendance (ADA) dollars school districts receive.  Including Brown’s $4600 increase this year, to $16,029 per student in fiscal 2018-19, because every pre-born kid statistically will get through K-12, that’s 13 years x $14,929 or $194,000+ each new preschool killing at planned parenthood costs CalEd Inc. $194,000!

I’d adopt the whole lot of 13 Turpin kids, if I could, since it seems NONE of the Turpintine’s extended family is willing to.  Family and sacrifice comes first to people of faith like us and who see children as blessings, not something for Kamala Harris’ ilk to destroy.

As it is, Kamala prefers hacked up black girls from mother wombs over fracked up black gold from mother earth.  Baby parts sold separately, of course.  She touts her human trafficking credentials while taking $82,000 from “Aborters without Borders”; she paid for play by invading the 700 sf apartment of Woodward&Bernstein style investigative whistleblower journalist David Daleiden for the crime of exposing, in their own words, the diabolic actions and words of abortionists.

Exactly who did Kamala send? 11 AR-15 armed goons to grab, (another violation of ‘deprivation of rights under the color of authority) thumb drives and his intellectual property to “scare” those who believe baby killing is evil.

This is the oddest thing: the top echelon of the ed establishment relies on new bodies to increase its coffers; why aren’t they vocal in stopping killing future students, since $16,029 per year for 13 years is a lot more than the $570 (adjusted for inflation) their fave preborn baby killers get for the heinous evil act.  Tax reform/cuts has led to $1000 crumbs for millions; PP bonuses (like Lamborghinis) are earned by the baby parts aftermarket selling of $715 heads and $150 baby hearts.

Medina’s difficulties understanding why home schoolers home educate, is not uncommon: large families are suspect and not relished in our biforcated culture today.  If you have more than two kids, you are accused, subtly or passive-agressively, with blaspheming the population gods.

Sometimes I coach moms of 3, 5 or more kids how to handle DINKOS who stand behind them at Staters, Vons or Ralph’s while she is battling her rug rat, curtain climber or purse popping kids at the checkout stand  The male DINKOS might say:

“Hey, lady, hurry it up.   By the way, don’t you know there’s a population problem?”

If I coached her with the truth, the mom of 5 might smile and pleasantly retort:

“Sir, cute dog you have there but you are absolutely right.  50 countries are one generation away from extinction with no or low birth rates.  My five kids will be paying your Social Security long after your Shitzoo is fertilizer buried in your back ground.  I’m doing what I can to help the worldwide population problem.  The birth dearth is not pretty.  How about you?”

Some of it is selfish disdain for someone having lots of kids; sometimes jealousy.  We don’t have a quantity population problem today on planet earth but a concentration (fly over country at night) on the coasts and large cities that makes it look like we have more than the measly 9 billion people currently on Gaia today.

It is keenly interesting how the Left goes ballistic when someone interferes with a woman’s right to choose to kill her kid, but if she chooses to have an n+1 number of kidlings and educate her living family her way, they throw tantrums.

So a woman’s choice, like so much in our bipolar culture, must fit in the left’s biased preoccupation with the bizarre.

The newsie ABCNNBCBS repeaters (reporters and journalists REPORT the news, not the fakefacters) demonize home schooling as aberrant, survivalist, religious tyrants, social misfits and, having experienced the same, 30 years more of ignorant comments by the anointed.  But since home educators number about 1% and growing, the other bizarre torture (Dahmers, etc) situations mean 99% of them where in societal public and even a tiny few private, traditional schools.

Mr Medina did not introduce a bill to monitor public schools after Sandy Hook.  And, as terrible the 13 Turpintined kids situation was, Sandy Hook elementary was a public school were children died with no homeschooling educator in sight..

Frankly, we just want to be left along; we have decades of proof home educated kids don’t just sit at home AND make solid contributions to society. They save colleges money because they have been thought critical thinking and studying skills etc.

  Posturing to the crowd, a la Medina Roth, is the benefit of the better off leftists; middle class families in the Golden state don’t have time to pontificate. We have to deal with 40% gas sales tax rates, prejudice and evil dispensed by the Moonbeams and Warren Wilhelm NYC mayors who practice social justice re-engineering ad nauseum. A $100 billion useless choo choo, demonizing the substance God mixes with water and sunlight to FEED the WORLD.

If inland empire’s Jose and Richard really cared about children’s welfare, they’d realize when a mom walks into a certain type of health clinic with child and then leaves barren, this is not “normal”, “humane” or even rational.  They’d be pleading with these distraught moms not to kill their future learners.  Future voters of Taxifornia and America.

This undeniable violation of systemic child welfare happens 3000 times a day with the blessing of mainly Democrat leaders like Kamala Harris who got paid $82,000 to defend planned parenthoodlum practices and Xavier Becerra, a former Catholic who has gone over to the Dark Side.  Harri$ is one of those who sat on her assets, hands under butt, while America heard that greatness can return and is returning.  She continues to traffic in human parts while hoping to run for the presidency in 2020 or ’24; there is NO chance this side of her hell she will be president.

The totals are tragic and enormous: 60 million American kids have been aborted so far, (1.9 billion worldwide) sacrificed for parts or convenience BEFORE kindgarten.  As Surgeon General pediatrician Koop points out, there is NO medically indicated need to kill or torture a kid, whether a Turpin torture or an abortionist shoving sharp knives called currettes up a mother’s vagina and cutting up a child that could easily survive outside the womb.

As it is, the junior senator Harri$ still has David’s personal property, even tho the House Subcommittee on Infant Lives used Daleiden’s work to indict 14 people and the FBI is working on them, though their is a bit of a distraction currently at the top of this excellent law enforcement agency (MEMO to Salcedo: authority is a good thing).

Ex-Catholic Xavier, do you know where Mr Daleiden’s stuff is, or are you joining that rouge judge’s contempt chorus. 

Back to homeschooling.

We rescued 30 year old “Little foot”.  Eating recycled rose petals

As a part of our scope&sequence curriculum, our family meets weekly with 30 other families in the inland empire to do chemistry, science, math history government (civics) as well as physical ed activities.  Field trips to Getty, other LA museums, Pacific Aquarium etc are typical parts of home schooling efforts.  Educational choices and teaching materials have exploded including much material on-line to use.  The Beckman “ranch” (2/3 of an acre in Anaheim) has featured science fairs, reptile exhibits including 10 foot pythons, continuous conservational/environmental research, gardening, animal rescue and lots more over three decades: domicilic pedagogy is a way of life.

I call our family’s ‘spread’ an Environmental Research Lab, where we try to be true stewards of the environment.  Instead of using emoticon~laden words, we recycle everything we can.  EPA level ‘Clean water’ comes from reverse osmosis; since the water usage is 2:7, nothing is wasted: the water is transported to our rosebushes.  When the roses go limp, no waste:  we take the rose petals and feed our ‘rescued’ 30 year old Sucata tortoise and fellow tortoises.

Our Lady of Guadalupe on a Day of the Son this year.

Come on, Len, do you really believe this?  Actually, I do as do millions and not just our Mexican brothers and sisters.  What gets more interesting, is just how power packed the image on the cactus poncho really is.

When Mary replaced the Aztec Tonantzin as the rightful queen of heaven at Tepeyac, our Lady focuses as she always does on her son, Jesus.  What’s so miraculous about the image anyways?  My protestant and Muslim friends have different opinions of Mary, the ever virgin mother of God, but the almost 500 year old piece of cactus cloth (life expectancy normally 10 years) is pristine, the image crisp and the story timeless.  And two very fascinating features of the image: the stars and the music.

One important feature discovered in recent years due to super computers, it is the actual star chart of the night sky of December 12, 1531.  When you plot the stars on Mary’s “cloak” against the constellations 486+ years ago that night, you see a 3D representation that spoke louder than words or the classic a “picture speaks louder than a thousand words”.  It still does.

Deciphering the mystery:

The constellation Virgo (the virgin) rests over Mary’s heart.  Mary has always had a heart for her “husband” the Holy Spirit and her Son, the Xavier (not to be confused with Xavier Becerra, a ‘modern Aztec Priest in name only Catholic’ who believes killing kids, black, Mexican, white or ? is AOK.  The Savior, misnamed at birth, is our NorteCalifornia attorney general.)

Speaking of Jesus, the constellation Leo (the Lion of the Tribe of Judah) rests over Mary’s womb.  The maternity belt around Mary’s waist signifies she was pregnant with Christ at the time and it was no accident that constellation, created before time, and others are in the positions they are.  Notice the graphic.  The red dots are the stars in Mary’s cloak, with the adjacent constellations labeled.  See Virgo and the little bump Leo?

Only a Perfect and Infinite Designer could do this.  Imagine the effort that went into the constellations, over time and the progression of the equinox to get to that point on Dec 12, 1531.  Hernan Cortez’ exploration, and arrival; his native Extremadura, Spain and the companion miracle appearance of Mary to another humble peasant, a sheep herder at the beginning of the 14th century, who dug up as directed, a statue of the Virgin Mary tradition tells us was carved by St. Luke.  The name Guadalupe comes from Spain; the pronounciation,

Salvation history, is His Story, and not too farfetched His Story is in the stars as well.  It is as much a multidimensional weave as a serial series of events.

Everything is the Guadalupe image spoke to the Nahuatl peoples in THEIR OWN language and understandings.  The native gods and goddesses represented in their regal deity colors and symbols, resting on the half moon and the cherub/angel; imagery, showing Mary comes to explain with mercy the better way.

So many things to cover, but google away: Mr Turley tells us science is NOT the enemy but confirms the miraculous nature, like the hidden treasure revealed:

“Rather than explaining away the cloth, then, modern science seemed to confirm its mysterious reality. Take for example, the unanticipated 1981 discovery that the arrangement of the stars on the image resembled that which astronomers were able to say was the configuration of the night sky over Mexico on 12 December 1531 – the day of the apparition; or, the equally surprising 1988 finding that when a map of Mexico was placed over the image it revealed an uncanny conformity to the iconographic and geographic elements shown on the map.  Stranger still, the relic seemed not only to speak of earth and stars but also to ‘sing’. The poor Aztec convert, Juan Diego, ran away at first but Mary kept her promise: his uncle was cured on Dec 13th and great things began to happen.

When he obeyed, picked and took the out of season Castilian roses in his tilma/cloak, and dumped them at the feet of Bishop Zummarraga, His Story continued.  The story of the Christ, from all and to all eternity, was emblazoned not with paint but with the hand of God.

Mary, God’s mother, was merely the messenger as usual, the excellent Jewish mom, almost saying “Oy ve, believe my Son.  He knows what He’s doing and is talking about”.  As if, at Cana, telling the servants to do as He tells you. where Jesus signified the importance and sacredness of one man one woman marriage for all time with His first miracle.  Or Mary, comforting the so many oppressed throughout the world.

Mexico is a great country; too bad, due to economic mismanagement and the drug cartels fueled by American upper class and everyday’s dependence on cocaine, fentanyl and other non-therapeutic drugs, 25% of the country has relocated north, leaving the land barren and subject to MS13 and the Corleone mob cartel mob types south of the border.   The 30 million here, leaving Mexico a wasteland for the satanic pharmacologists, will not end until we stop the destruction of the Mexican family IN Mexico, as dads and their eldest sons “abandon” and head north, leaving the rest of the family easy prey for the local gangs throughout the land of Tenochtitlan.

This is not a political problem, but a heart problem.  Mary introduced her Son to the indigenous peoples of Mexico and they responded by the millions; she helped to replace Aztec sacrifice with the bloodless daily sacrifice, still occurring today in the Basilica of Mexico City, we know as the Mass. Our Lady of Guadalupe is the virgin of hope, now the empress of the Americas.

Like my Muslim friends who revere Mary as the ever virgin (Fatima, site of 1917 visits, was the name of Muhammad’s beloved daughter), my Mexican friends, Catholic in the main, still look to Mary’s Son and His mother for many things.

The image is more than a rearview mirror hanger or image on a coaster: it tells us, in no uncertain terms, that Divine Mercy is available to all who reach out and recognize Jesus, the Son of Living God, as their Eternal Savior.

Being a bully, treating others right, are not new ideas.  If a woman unmarried to you throws herself at you, state simply’  “Miss, you are a lady in waiting.  I want to think of you this way, not a lady of the street.  Please let us keep our relationship on the level above the neck and not involving your beautiful parts below the shoulders”  or similar words.  But, men for heaven’s sake, do not force women to do what they do not desire to do.  I have not treated women the best I could, mea culpa.  But, we can try to do better from today on.  Just as Harvey claims to have his sex addiction cured.

Step TEN!  Sex as it should be is simple: it is ‘making love’ between two consenting adults, one male one female who consent to God being #1 in their lives and a co-participant in them continuing the species.  God does NOT create new FIRST COUPLES.  No way.  He relies on those He has made stewards of this great world.

Step Eleven: Find ways to make life good for others; individualize your charitable ways and seek long standing healthy relationships that happen neck up until marriage.  Or neck up for a lifelong friendship.  Sex is best where it belongs: INSIDE a covenant marriage.

Step 12:  See you in heaven.  God desires ALL to be happy forever, ALL, whether a Harvey or a Hitler.  But it’s our choice whom we serve and live forever with.  satan or the Saviour, God’s son, Jesus the Christ.

Oh and Harveywood.  Keep your penises in your training pants.  Sex is not for children like you.  It is for the Jerry and Ruth’s of the world.  Grown ups.  Harvey?  He still has a chance but it’s not in an Arizona sexhab facility paying $40,000 a month.  It’s before God, a rabbi if he’s a Jew or a priest, should he be a CINO.  But, hope is there for all.  Give up sex outside of marriage.  For your time on earth.

10/17/17 The 2nd Fri the 13th in 2017 is an epic one.

100 years ago today the sun went wild, moving around like a Gene Kelly routine in an orchestrated dance in the sky.

The Wednesday Oct 13th that year was a very wet one, when Mary made her 6th trip to the town named for Muhammad’s daughter, Fatima in Portugal.  Not unlike her predictions 307 years previous, in Quito, Equador where she prophesied, with God’s help, the devastations of the 19th and 20th centuries.  As Our Lady of Good Success (Happy Endings/Events) and at Fatima, she always focuses on the center of the world and history: her Son.

On Previous 13ths of the preceding five months, Jesus’ mom gave prophecies of epic events, including the need to concentrate Russia to her Immaculate Heart; in 1917, she mentioned an upcoming pope of hope, Karol Wotyla who would become an ally of Reagan to turn back satan’s selling of atheistic communism.  We know him as Pope Saint John Paul II, one of the greatest popes of all time.  The battles for good vs evil continue since Cain and Abel, with Poland witnessing a million man & woman rosary march, a “Rosary at the Borders” on Oct 7, 2017, to stop the Islamic militants overrunning their country.  Didn’t know about this, the second largest prayer event in European history?  It was in the paper of record the New York Times

My protestant buddies may pooh pooh this, but yes Mary has always and is a prophet of hope.  Starting from her first “Yes”, all the way to that fateful Friday the 13th on Calvary when her beloved Son, THE Son, died that we might live forever.

Not unlike that war torn year 1917, we have had earthquakes, hurricanes, devastating wildfires including wine country and weinstein meltdown: Hollywood has always been the place where the devil was in the details, “Don’t get too close to that producer’s couch, daughter, when you audition, or you will pay with your body to be a star”.  The powerful, like Mrs. Clinton, ALWAYS compartmentalize, ie look the other way until they can’t, when their spouses or themselves, use people as property and suck the lifeblood, like locust-vampires of doom, out of everyone they meet.

The devil always gets his due, except with Mary and her Son.

Mary brought that message 100 years ago today.  Maybe, Father God chose the 13th as the monthly date for His mother, Regina Coeli, the Queen of Heaven to visit three kid shepherds in Fatima, because it was the death date for her Son, visited by young shepherds 33 years or so previously anno Domini.

The one star of hope to remember is the one over the House of Bread: Bethlehem.  Heralding, like the great pyramid of Giza, the coming of the Christ (that pyramid is STILL missing the top cornerstone even today) as we are reminded yearly on the day of rebirth.

The one star chart of Guadalupe to remember shows Mary DOES make it to earth; she is doing as much today as during the years as a mother to well, GOD!

The main prayer of hope is easily remembered and recited: the Rosary.  So like that wet Wednesday 100 years ago today, focus on Mary’s Son, just as the Sun focused on those drenched eyewitnesses, turning them instantly dry.

Our hope cannot lie in boorish perverts like Weinstein, owned by the Disney Co.  I know, directly of one beautiful woman who said “No” to letting a Disney producer use her body to keep a role and left the secular acting and singing world with both her soul and body intact.  Nor in earthly things that can be dismantled by shaking earth, raging winds or wild fires.  Our hope must lie in the person the focus of Mary’s Fatima prophecy, a great pope, who like us, is a witness to the one Hope that transcends time and eternity: Jesus the Christ.   Enjoy Friday the 13th; reflect on that Wed the 13th of the same month 1200 months ago, witnessed by 70,000.

9/9/18  Today marks the 168th birthday of the Golden State’s admission into this great land of ours.  But to me, the family and so many others, it also is the 7th anniversary of the loss of one of the world’s great mothers, sib, teacher, friend, lover…did i mention ‘friend’?

49 days short of 49 years, as her loving sis Caryn points out, was waaay too short.

She supported me in becoming a realtor and then realtor/broker, which continues to be my privilege helping people today;  working multiple jobs to be a youth minister for 30+years, now a privilege as a sub-in teacher for St Norberts (you can’t raise a family in the OC easily on Church salary but then the rewards are well, priceless and eternal)

2555 days ago, Donna went home to heaven.  Days later, 900 will recite the rosary with her at St Anthony Claret; 1100 will conclude her funeral Mass at Holy Family Cathedral by reciting the prayer of St Gertrude, sending a million one hundred joy-filled souls out of purgatory into the eternal realm where Jesus, His mom and so many others dwell. How that works?  Ask St Gertrude and God; they’re up there with Donna

How do you measure a life? Like in past posts, let me share a couple more miracles. I do this because each year i discover someone who knew Donna but didn’t know of her early trip above.   The Christmas day discovery of 4th stage cancer led to chemo and other therapies to rid this amazing mom of the scourge.  But, one of her turning points was the total faith in God and her love for the Catholic Church led her to realize after an April healing Mass, that her healing was spiritual and not physical in nature.

God has a plan for each of us, for you and for me, no matter what faith we proclaim, even for the Lenins among us who believe there is no god nor God and blindly follow communism and/or socialism.  Sorry Bern: ask Pope Pacelli and America’s bishop Sheen: socialism is evil.  Just as slaveryism, fascism, Naziism and its descendant planned parenthoodlum child harvesting cannibalism are ex and intrinsic evils that need to be stamped out.  Donna was a free market capitalist who loved everyone and offered solace to the many–and the individual.  She had faith in her kids, family, friends and her man.  As imperfect, trust me as he was and is.

Donna knew this and moved forward by offering her pain and sufferings for the needs of others all the way to her death day.  And in heaven, as the poem that ends this blogpost points out, heaven only knows how much intercessionary prayers she is engaged in!  Knowing Donna, tons.  My kids were rappers before they hit hollywood.

One year ago, Harvey’s wake continued, Irma bore down on Florida.  8.1 earthquake just hit the Mexico that hurricane Jose made land on.

Today, we have the New York Time$ fake anonymous concoction and the Steele poo poo spy scandal fruad starting to come out after 25, so far, FBI&DOJers have been released from their toddlerhood.

The Algorean heretics continue to insult God, giving credit to man and calling one of His gifts, a substance mixed with water and sunlight that feeds the world, “pollution”, while stealing billions in money needed elsewhere for real science, to export good construction, agriculture and other technologies to the 2nd and 3rd world.  CO2 remains the photosynthetic miracle of life.  The Maunder Minimum approaches, and the daily kerfuffle (Mr Greenhut) or Dem crisis du jour leading us to what I perceive will transform this modern Dark Age: the Renaissance of Truth, Life & Love.

Speaking of the conflicted, the end of the worlders, who believe they have insights (only God knows the day and time) and looked to Sept 20-21, 2017,  the convergence of the Jewish Feast of Trumpets coinciding with Muharram, the Islamic new year, as the point of His return.  The ring side seats proved this to be nothing burger, yet being right with God is always a first must.

You know who you are; there is no point of no return, even as the phantom sung in a fave opera, just get right with Jesus before HIS point of forever return.  I’ve seen hell in helplessly watching Donna’s nine months of devolution and passing; yet it is ant sized compared to what the real hell is for those who choose to ignore the signs of the times, and the words of the Bible.  Ask Dante, the children of Fatima, Sister Kowalska nee St Faustina and others.

The real miracle Mrs Kramer experienced the day after the funeral on Friday, Sept 16th remains pivotal.  At Mass, when praying for her soul, Donna revealed to Lauren that thank you, “I will pass on your prayers for those who need them”.  Lauren told me months later about this; i asked her what it meant and Lauren said it means she is a generous lady AND in heaven.  Think Len is delusional? Sorry, no such luck on this.  Take it up with Donna.  I’m sure, being outside time and space, she’s able to hear you.  My not so keen hearing, not so much.

Ok, my God-doubting, and Protestant, Jewish, Muslim et al friends, yes it happened.

Mary, Jesus’ mom.  Her birthday happens one day before Donna’s heaven day on Sept 8th.

Bernadette (Sanders) Pendleton experienced piano-esque capabilities; new client, now in her home with Joe and the kids, Siobhan Nye asks for her prayers as well.  Mary continues to cash in her frequent flyer miles in places like Mexico City, Fatima, Portugal; Ecuador, Japan, Egypt, Poland.  She’s even on toast sold on Ebay.

Donna the Teacher and Lover

We are in our 35th year of home schooling err domicilic pedagogy and Donna and I embarked on this adventure long before it was fashionable.  Parents ARE the primary educators of their children, not the state of disarray or California.  Donna loves her 11 kids, can visit with her grandson John on occasion and the other eight, including a newbie waiting for daylight with Josh and Maryanne.  The busy are usually the go-to people; Donna always had time to help others.  Our ministry at St Callistus, Anthony and the Holy Family Cathedral were done together, though she never got to Europe for World Youth Days or Salt Lake for Ski Utahs.  Her kids were her focus.

No, Dominic, the Church is not the whore of Babylon; that title is reserved for something else.  A member of this Church, despite it’s history of priest and layperson failures, Donna is praying for you just as she prayed for the woman who shared her room at St Joe’s who was dying.

Beautiful tale of love:  Twice, Donna needed to be in the hospital after her Period of Cure Attempts ended after Christmas Day 2010.  As usual, she’s looking out for the other not herself.

.  The first time, a woman with no family stayed awake through the night and Donna, though in similar straights, ministered to her needs.  Praying with her, talking to her, without believe it or not, texting and other social media tools.  She showed her love, sacrificed her sleep for the needs of another.  Something she did throughout 30 years of raising kids and putting up with Len.  Loving Jesus. Devoted to His and Mary’s sacred hearts. Sacrificing for others, especially the 11 entrusted to her care that she bore.

The other time, Donna shared her room with another 50ish woman who was losing the battle as well.  This second time, we hubbies got special permission to stay the night and the four of us took time to relate, share and more.  I still think of this family; the daughter owns a pizza place on Commonwealth in Fullerton, as friends

Life is a journey, with one long term goal:  living happily forever in the Heavenly City.

Donna is praying for you; for her brother David to reconcile with Hollie his wife, which is still a possible but not probable and begin their marriage together.  For her older sister Caryn that she stay focused on her faith and know that she too misses her.

Melanie Treanor-Castro I remember riding bikes on the river bed all the way to the beach with the youth group. We stopped at your place in Costa Mesa so that you could introduce us to Donna. That’s when you told me that you were going to propose to her. I was so happy and excited for you because Donna was so sweet and kind and you could tell she completed each other. Donna was the type of woman that most woman wanted to be she could hold down the house and still be calm enough to make all of her children feel special along with everyone around her loved. Donna was an angel 😇 on earth .

Teri Wetter I remember when she watched Nathan when Jonathan was getting treatment in LA. She had 4 or 5 kids at the time and home schooling them too. She would say no problem, happy to help. Miss her.

Lisa Abramson I remember times to talking with Donna and praying with her. She was so relaxed and a great example of being a mom. Each one got attention. And she would light up, Len, as she shared stories of your early years. Yours was a special relationship! ❤

Patty Magdaleno · I remember hanging out in the office with her talking about everything and anything all at once. She was always willing to listen. I have the Bible she gave me, and I can still picture her smile. She was a beautiful soul. She is dearly missed.

God gave us Donna.

I am so blessed and continue to be.  Donna remains an important, though somewhat limited role, part of so many’s lives because after all:  ALL of us live forever, but for a brief interruption at our earthly death.  No uHaul trailers behind the hearse, including the one that was followed on Sept 15th by more cars to Holy Sepulcher except Carl Karcher’s.  Donna one time helped to cook a chicken dinner for the Karchers to honor their prolife work…AT our home, when the St Anthony Claret kitchen ovens failed. And transported to the church hall.  She never complained just did what moms do.

Not all gifts are easy and simple.  No child EVER was.

But Love as God loves: Love Him with your whole soul, body, mind and spirit.  Love your neighbor as yourself.  This last needs to replace the idiocy of the Democrat owned media, ABCNNBCBS and the DCNY Times-Post.  We are NOT a racist people, Trump is trying, the DC swamp is so deep it may never be drained, no diff than moonbeam’s Sacracesspool.

But know this: if you follow Christ, nothing yes nothing is impossible.  His Father’s perfect will can coincide with our imperfect ones.  Be open to the Spirit.

As JPIIthe Great and Jesus both said:  “Be not afraid”.

It isn’t like a fancy gift wrapped in a fancy store. But the effort that’s gone into it, Is twice as much and more!

A million questions came about while wrapping this for you: ‘How come we’re giving them a gift? why can’t we use the glue?

Can chickens fly? Do turtles run? What do you call this shape? They’ll never ever guess our gift! Mom, Larissa’s got the tape!

How come it only gets one bow? Can dolphins swim to shore? Nathan’s cutting David’s hair! We want to wrap some more!

A mother and father’s role is to help their kids, educate them not indoctrinate, teach them about God, His creation and processes, the Eternals.  To warn them of the -isms that dog the earth always, repackaged under names like environmental stewardship, androgenic climate change, neo-Naziism, old-communism, watermelon biospherics etc.

They must wrap the gifts themselves and they themselves ARE the gifts.  We are stewards, not slavemasters of the children gifted to us.  The task is formidable but not impossible.  God made billions of stars, trillions of insects but only one first couple.  Men and women on earth depend on a man and woman having the next one.

There is ONE human race, my friends, despite the anarchists’ idle idiocies: colors, hues, locales are accidents of birth and incidents of choice.  Be blessed where you are and use your gifts accordingly.  We STILL are a free market land which rewards initiative, entrepreneurs and industrious families…despite the leeches and abusers in DC and Sacramento.

My plea is, dads, do not ignore your kids!

Nor, Moms, do not think yourself inadequate for the task.

Homeschoolers, fear not “socialization” because the ignorant Job’s counselors can’t spell it.  Always humbly and with love, answer the question “What’s today, people of God?” with a resounding “It IS a great day to be alive”.

ALL parents are homeschoolers; some just farm out the work when the kid turns 4.  Which is ok!!  We value choice and parents’ choice needs to be honored.

If you think you are ‘incapable’ to educate your young, Donna barely started college when she said I do to this mischievous husband; yet she has raised and in a real way continues her task, ALL our adult kids have college degrees, including BS’, masters and summa cum laudes, gifted mothers in the making or in action in Amanda, Maryann, Emily, Jen, Larissa, Rosie, Briana, Faustina and Katie.

Gifted men in Josh, Matt, Nathan, David, Zach and Brian.  Donna’s first daughter walks in her footsteps in the next gen, having three deja vu back to when Amanda was the youngest of three in Anaheim a few short decades ago.  Emigres to Houston when the Church of Houston-Galveston beckoned Brian, missed the tornado and the flood, bought their first home.  Life is what happens while making our own plans.

A PhD or masters can never replace an MRS degree in raising kids, the today generation too often aborted because they can’t defend themselves from hell’s doctors.

And there is a special place in hell for the Kamalas, Xaviers, Ceciles and Obamas who don’t wake up and realize they are doing as Sheen put it:

Too many miracles surround Donna’s trip home.  She remains the “gift that keeps on giving”; yet, each of you are the same.  Gifted with talents ready for discovery, for bringing to life.  Don’t settle for seconds, for less than doing the best, ignore the naysayers and anarchists like the post 11-9 snowflake indoctrinators,  give and get the best.

As the wrappers showed us, great things come in small, less than orderly packages.  See with Christ eyes the world.  Serve it the same way.  Thank you Donna for 49 years minus 49 days of life.  Looking to see you in the distant future: even that is God’s call.
